Blog Term1 Day26

After school today, we battled Little Flower Academy in Field Hockey. It was really fun and the end score was 0-0. We might not have scored, but at least we didn't lose. I didn't really have as much fun though..... for the whole day, I felt really sick. My throat hurts, my nose feels runny, my body feels hot on th outside, but cold in the inside. I also have a little headache. I really feel sick, now that I think about it.

The worst part is: tomorrow, I have to run Langara. Usually people breath through their mouth to run, but if I do that, my throat will hurt even more. I am feeling really miserable now...

Blog Term1 Day25

My brother had a Pro-D day today, so my mom got a day off. They were so lucky! I was stuck in school (no offence) while they were shopping at Metropolis at Metrotown and other malls! I love shopping (as you know) and they got to go to one of the best malls around! I felt so unlucky, because when I had my Pro-D day, I was stuck at home finishing homework! Well, I guess life is very unfair. But at least they got me a big soft pretzel!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Plain: no salt, no butter). I LOVE soft pretzels! They could be like my favourite comfort food or something! You know how people say that chicken soup helps heal people, well to me, it's PLAIN soft pretzels with the side of my dad's pumpkin soup. (Trust me, it tastes AWESOME!)

Now, I am changing my good stories to a bad one... I got a massive mosquito bite! In the beginning, it was very small, almost invisible, but slowly, it got soooooo big and red! It looks totally swelled up and gross. To make matters worse, it is like so itchy! I also have a English test tomorrow. It's about Shakespeare and his time.

Blog Term1 Day24

YAY! It's day 24 (my favourite number of all time)! It's kinda nice to see how many days I have been doing this blog. Today I went to a beach at West Vancouver with my mom, dad, grandpa and brother. It was totally fun and we saw a couple of jellyfish there! Then, we went to Park Royal (the mall) and did a teeny bit of shopping. After shopping, we came back home. Now, I am doing the blog. (I just came home 10 minutes ago).

There isn't a lot I have to say today... I guess you are kinda tired of hearing my talk about shopping and homework and Chinese school.....

First, I have to talk about Chinese school. We had a very long dictation today and I think I didn't really do a good job. To bad, what is done is done and anyways, I don't think I want to go back in time to do the whole Chinese school session again! It was terrible, although there were a couple of really funny parts. I have another really really really long dictation for next class! (So sad...)

Okay, enough about the bad parts of my day, here is a good part, I don't have that much homework to do I (from school). I also went shopping today! I got 3 headbands and a hoody from Lululemon! I also wanted to get a hoody from Garage, but I saw 5 people (so far) with the exact same one!

Blog Term1 Day22

Today, we went to Bard on the Beach to see Twelfth Night. It was really funny and I thought it was one of the best plays I have ever seen. The actors were really good too, I noticed all the lines were very hard and if I ever saw the script, I think that I would faint. Everything was said in "Shakespeare's language". The expression on the actor's faces were incredible! Everything looked so perfect! The food there was really great too. (Sorry, but I just HAVE to talk about the food). I got a bag of popcorn (there were 3 flavours: butter, cheese and caramel) and a large cup of hot apple cider. It was really really good! But everything there was quite expensive. (But then again, it should be). I shared the popcorn with some of my friends too, not only because they are my friends, but also because the bag was HUGE!

I also got my SPC card today. I was at Bard on the Beach, so I asked my best friend to get it for me and slip it into my locker. There are a lot of things you can get using the card! Anyway, I better hurry along again. I have Chinese dictation stuff to do. (Remember, today is my least favourite day). I also should practice piano, since I didn't get to do any quality piano-playing in days!

My random thought/statement of the day: Because I started talking about the yummy hot apple cider, I think I want some now.

Blog Term1 Day21

I feel so gloomy and sad. It's Pro-D day, but I really really wish I was at school. Usually, when I am at school, I'm with my friends, so the weather isn't such an important factor. But today, I think I will sit around, notice the terrible weather, do my homework from school, do all the homework from Chinese school, study for Chinese dictation and mourn over my lost mouth guard. I think the mouth guard plays an important factor to my sadness. You see, I have a field hockey game today (at 3:15) and I have lost my mouth guard. I feel so emo! And I am sooooo glad I can write how I feel on this blog. It feels better to let it all out. Oh yeah, and I also have to play piano for 2 hours today, because I haven't played since Monday. Oh man, that just made me feel worse. I wish I had Chicken Soup of some sort, even the canned ones, because they say that Chicken Soup makes you feel better. But again, today is sooooooooooooooooooo not my day because there is NO chicken soup. Only Campbell's veggie or something (I am sooooooo not in the mood for that, seriously).

All I want to do is run outside (yes, in the rain) and go to Oakridge mall! (That is actually kinda far to run, but good practice for Langara). At Oakridge mall, I will whip out 20 magic jelly beans (sound familiar?) and command them to each become 50 dollar bills. Then, with a balance of $1000, I will go to Lululemon and buy 4 hoodies and 7 headbands ($470). Then I will go to Garage and get the 3 hoodies and 3 bags I have always wanted ($160). Then the $400 (around that much) I will get another 3 hoodies from Aritzia and a TNA bag. After my huge shopping spree, I will then buy myself a hot chocolate from Starbucks and fly home using another magic jelly bean (do not worry, I did not get wet on the way back!

My random thought statement of the day: My little story, (about the clothes) it totally never gonna happen! But I might make myself a mug of hot chocolate.

Blog Term1 Day20

Today is one of the funny days in this week. The whole schedule for today was like a Friday, so school ended at 1:55pm. I bought lunch today (mashed potatoes with gravy). It was totally yummy! It seemed like a small portion, but there is really a lot.

I can't wait for Bard on the Beach, which comes right after Pro-D day! I really want to go shopping (darn, here I go again. It's like I talk about clothes because I can't go shopping till the weekends. But sadly, Chinese school always finds a way to ruin my weekend!) OMGosh! I just remembered that I have a huge dictation on Saturday, and I STILL haven't studied. I guess too much homework. Today, I had bags under my eyes.... how sad.

I really want to go to Garage, Lululemon and Aritzia. And if I have time, Urban Planet. Urban Planet used to be one of my fav's. But now... not so much.

My random thought/statement of the day: I'm craving chocolate, even though I 99.99% of the time hate it, unless it is dark chocolate, then it's about 50%.

Blog Term1 Day19

Today was the grade 8 rep. election. It was kinda fun and exciting because it was my first time voting for a grade representative in high school, and also because we got to skip half of a class. It was awesome!

This week is very weird. First of all, there is a Pro-Day on Thursday, and secondly, there is a parent walk about tomorrow. That makes everything kind of weird. I only have 1 day 1, because the second day 1 is on Thursday. Oh yeah! And I also have a Bard on the Beach field trip on Friday! This week is seriously funny!

Oh man, I am tired again. It is almost like I can't keep my eyes open for a minute longer. Maybe I can power sleep for 15 minutes, but usually, I sleep over time and go to 30-45 minutes. Then, I can't sleep at night until 12:30 am. I REALLY REALLY have to catch up on sleep! Usually during last period, I fall asleep, well, I feel like it.

My random thought/statement of the day: I just realized that I didn't talk about shopping for clothes this whole entire time! Darn it, I realized that I just did!

Blog Term1 Day18

I feel kind of tired again. I don't really know why, maybe it's because I had lots of work to do today. I really want to go shopping again. Oh no, maybe I really am a little bit of a shop a holic! That is terrible..... but don't worry, just because I like to shop, doesn't mean that I always buy something. I usually just window shop and if I really really like something, I would put it on my wish list (trust me, it's about 2 pages, just kidding!)I really like headbands, and if you ask any of my friends, or relatives they would tell you I have A LOT of headbands. I think I have 30 something. I want to get more headbands from Lululemon, one of my favourite places to shop (or window shop), but they are $10.00 each.

Man, I am soooooooooooooooo hungry. But I guess that is what happens after practice. I already had a cup of yogurt when I got back home (strawberry, to be exact). It was totally awesomely yummy! But I'm sure hearing me talk about field hockey practice, yogurt and Lululemon headbands must be very boring.

Blog Term1 Day17

Today, I have quite a bit of homework to do. It's kind of sad to have to do homework even on the weekends, but I guess what has to be done has to. Last night, I finished almost all my Chinese homework, so I don't have to do any today. Yay! There isn't really that much I want to talk about today. Well, tomorrow is back to waking up at 7am. I noticed that I usually sleep at 12 and then wake up at 7. I really wish I could get more sleep! That was actually one of my goals.

I feel tired, but not in the "I want to sleep way." It feels kinda weird, I better go do the rest of my homework now.

Blog Term1 Day16

Like I said, I am writing another blog today. I went shopping a little today (Oakridge). There, I got a brown Lululemon headband (I LOVE those). Anyway, I have a lot of homework to do, so I better hurry along. Usually, Saturday night is movie night, but I don't think I'll have time this year.

It is true how Day 2 (Middle Years classes) has a lot more homework to complete, but I rather have all my Middle Years classes together than appart. I hope that I can do some more homework today, so I won't have to tomorrow.

Blog Term1 Day16

Hello, I am back on and I have to go to Chinese School soon. I should be studying again, but I just realized that I didn't do my blog yesterday. It's not that I forgot. But when I tried at around 4 pm, it just didn't work. I think that the system was down because every time I tried to write something, a pop up would say that I couldn't post the blog. It was very frusterating, and for the rest of the day and night, I had to practise piano, study for Chinese dictation, do rudiments etc. I am very sorry! I really tried (4 times). But it still wouldn't work.

Well, about today. I am tired, because I slept late last night (12am) doing my homework and studying Chinese. And later I have to study Chinese a little bit more! So I better go, and later today, I might write another one as an apology/one just because I didn't write on yesterday.

Blog Term1 Day15

I am soooooooooooo happy today! (This time, for a reason!) Churchill won the field hockey team against Crofton House! I am still a little excited! Someone said that Churchill hasn't beat Crofton in a very long time. They also say that Crofton is the best! Right now, I sound like a sore winner. And I truly am sorry. I mean, Crofton is like awesome. Their skills are totally good. It might be because we were playing on grass and they weren't that used to it. But to tell you the truth, if were playing on turf, I bet we would have been creamed! It is still good to say that we won! I can't wait till tomorrow, then I can tell all my friends that aren't on the team! In the end, I was cheering so loudly, my throat feels kinda weird.

Today, I bought lunch at school. I know that it isn't such a big deal, but to me, it feels interesting. I had a pasta bowl and I thought that it was delicious! Next time, I might get a soup, it's just that I don't know if it will be enough.

Oh man, I just realized that tomorrow, we have to run 6 times around the track! I don't really like to run around the track... it's kinda boring since there is nothing to see. At least Langara has different views! On the track, all you do is run in circles. I have run around the track 6 times before (in elementary school) but I think that was in grade 6, and I was on the cross country team.

Okay, I think that I have written enough today! I better start doing my Chinese dictation and school homework.

Blog Term 1 Day14

For some reason, I feel happy today. (And tired), but still happy. I also have the urge to go shopping. I don't really know why, I just have to! I want to shop for clothes! I must! (Okay maybe I don't have to, but I would really really really want to!) Tonight we have salmon for dinner. (That was random, but I just had to add that).

We have another field hockey game tomorrow! We are playing at home, so that would be nice! We are battling Little Flower Academy. One of my really good friend's sister goes there! Today, the only homework I have is math, but that is a good thing, because I still have some work to do from yesterday. (English and science). Okay, now I really want to go shopping! Ahhhhhhhh!

Blog Term1 Day13

I have been writing blogs for almost 2 weeks. It's like an anniversary or something! Today, we had our first actual game against another school, Eric Hamber. It was so much fun even though we lost 1-2. I think that field hockey is seriously my favourite sport! It was awesome! I also think that I am now 3 shades darker on my arms, but 0 shades darker on my thighs. Now, I am sooooo unevenly tanned! My arms are dark, my thighs are white and I have sock tans and flip flop tans. Sometimes, I can't even stop laughing at my funny tan lines!

My random thought/statement of the day: Today, after the game, these funny sprinklers came up and get me all wet! It felt so good!

My legs are soooo stiff and they are hurting like mad! It's actually kinda funny how it hurts so much. I have noticed that if I leave my legs still, it kinda gets better. Well, anyway, about my day. I don't have that much homework to do. Since today was day 1, I only have math and French homework (yay!) On day 2, I have homework from every subject. It's kinda sad.

That is kinda all I have to say today. I know that it isn't much, but if I said anymore it would kinda be meaningless. So okay, bye!

I am sooooooooo sleepy. It's not even night time though. It's like 3 something pm! I really want to read comic books, but I still have to finish up my school homework. Along with the homework from Chinese school. I know, busy busy me! Last night is usually movie night, but we had to skip it because it's kinda hard to fit it in with the schedule. I went shopping again today (yay!) but I didn't get anything. There were a couple of hoodies I wanted to buy. To be exact, 4. There were 2 really nice ones from Garage. And 2 from TNA/Aritzia. But I'm guessing you don't really want to here my life long explaination of why I want to buy the hoodies.

Chinese school is over! I now have another week until "Scary" classes. I know Chinese school is bad, because I just don't like it, but it is also good for me (unfortunatly). After lunch, I went to piano lessons.

Then, I went to Richmond Centre (I didn't go before, like I said I might). I did some shopping and then came home. Well, that pretty summerizes what I did for the day. Now, I am doing my first part of homework, my blog. Then, I will probably go on to math, french, English etc.

Today is Friday, my least favourite day, but today seems to be okay because I have done almost all my Chinese homework. Yay! Also, tonight, I will probably go to Richmond Centre to get a new wheely backpack. I hate having to walk home with a 100 tonne backpack!

I think that I am really enjoying Churchill. The teachers are quite nice and today, I didn't get to finish a little part of my homework, so the teacher extended the date. I was soooooo grateful. High school is quite cool in some ways, but sometimes not that good. All of my teachers are awesome!

Blog Term1 Day8

I have a feeling that tonight will be a bad night. First, the hot water ran out, so I can't shower until it's fixed (I just came back from field hockey practice and I am VERY sweaty and gross.) Secondly, I really have to study for Chinese dictation because I didn't the entire week, except for 1 day. Thirdly, I have a lot of homework to do which includes a Science test tomorrow, along with 1 story board, and a drawing of my house from a magic tree house, which contained the magic jellybeans. Fourth, I haven't played piano yesterdaym so I have to make up for the time. I just have a feeling, I will be sleeping at 2:00am tonight.

Better finish my other homework!

Blog Term1 Day7

I just came back from dinner. (At a restaurant). The restaurant is so close, it only takes about 3-5 minutes to walk there. The food was very good and I am now bloated! There was free soup and free dessert!

I have noticed a pattern in school. On day 1, I get very little homework, only from Math and French. But when it comes to day 2, I get a small mountain of homework. I have Applied Skills homework, English, Socials and Science. It's crazy! And guess what? Today is day 2! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

My random thought/statement of the day: I have a really big mosquito bite on the back of my leg! It is sooooooooooooooo itchy!

Blog Term1 Day6

Today, I had the assembly, as I said before. I really enjoyed the performances. There was singing, joke telling and Mr. Latimer did this Indiana Jones skit. It was awesome! I think that every eighth grader had a lot of fun!

Today, at P.E, I had a lot of fun. First, we ran around the school 2 times and then, we played field hockey! Overall, the whole day was fun and fresh!

Blog Term1 Day5

Again I have some homework to do! Oh well, I'm not suffering yet (thankfully). Today, we had our second field hockey practise. I think that I will be on offence... I'm not 100% sure yet though!

Tomorrow, I have an assembly (for grade 8s') that means that I will be missing my fine arts class! Nooooooooooooo!!!! I really like fine arts because we get to learn how to play the guitar! I also can't wait until the drama section comes! I love acting! My memory might not be the best, but since I like acting so much, I think it will be a breeze!

In English class today, we read Twelfth Night by Shakespeare, and I realize that I really like Shakespeare's work! I love the plays (which is acting)! Well, that is pretty much all I have to say today!

Blog Term1 Day4

Back to blogging! This is the first piece of homework I have done today! I still have quite a bit to go though.... School is going to start again tomorrow, and I better get prepared! Again I have field hockey after school, YAY! I LOVE field hockey! It's probably one of my favourite sports.

I just realized that tomorrow, there is no homeroom, that means it's 80 minute classes. I love high school (besides the homework). There are so many sports teams and clubs. I have my own locker, (even though it's kinda old and I think that I found an orange peel in it). I also like how high school makes me feel so independent! Even though I have no classes with my best friend, we are still really tight and we hang out at lunch and after school. We are also both on the field hockey team.

Blog Term1 Day2

Well, it's back to Saturday, (my least favourite day of the week, occasionally along with Friday). I don't like Saturday because I have Chinese school. I know that it's good for me and all, but I'm not a fan of it because we have to read out in class. (I suck at reading in Chinese).

After Chinese school, I had lunch, followed closely by piano lessons. I was thinking of going to Oakridge, mainly because I want to go to Garage Clothing Co. -there are 2 really cute sweaters that I have to buy!- but decided that I better finish my homework from school, along with the homework I recieved from Chinese school. (Errrrrr).

Blog Term1 Day2

Today is a whole new day! The first week of school is over and it was totally fun! Being in high school makes me feel so old! (Well, not really....)

As you may know (from my previous blog), I am on the field hockey team, and just a couple of hours ago, I got a new pair of shin guards! I know that this might not be that interesting, but to me, I think it is fairly important. This is the first high school team I have ever joined so it is quite exciting!

Blog Term1 Day1

Wow, this is my first blog and I am so excited, it's been my second day of school, and WHAM! I already have a small pile of homework. It's exciting though! Being in high school is so cool! You are so free and independent! All my classes are fun and each unique, just spread out all over the school. I was lost on the first day, trying to get to my homeroom! So scary!

I have signed up for the school's team of field hockey. Well, I'm 99% that I am accepted because we were a little short of people. Today was the first after-school practice and I had such a blast! Even though I had never tried it before, I thought it was totally awesomely awesome!!! It was a blast and I can't wait till the next practice! Well, that is all I have to say for today!
