Blog Term2 Day10

Last night was movie night, and we watched Indiana Jones, Kingdom of the Chrystal Skull. My brother and I had already watched it in the movie theater with our aunt, uncle and 2 cousins, but this time, we watched it with our mom. It was so good, even if the first 3 were better... But I still really liked it. I especially love movies when they get the same characters to act again. I really hate it when the sequel has other people that weren't in the first movie. It's just one of my biases. hehehehehe. Then, today, we went to a supermarket in hopes of getting onigiris, but they didn't come out until 11:30am and unfortunately, it was only 11... But it's okay, because I am sure to get them some other time. The ones that they had were of more variety than the ones sold at the school. They had unagi and crab meat, along with all the other ones that the school has. If they had it out, I would have probably gotten 3 unagis and 2 crab meats. But of course I wouldn't eat them all at once. I would share with my brother and eat them over the week. One of those onigiris can really fill you up. 2 could be a meal, literally. Since they weren't out, I just got an inari. inaris are these really yummy rice balls wrapped in sweet tofu. It is just sooooo good! But the package only comes with 3... I seriously should have gotten more... Oh well, I can always get more next week. And if I eat too many, it won't be special any more!

My random thought/statement of the day: I love the Old Spaghetti Factory's Zucchini Sticks dipped in Ranch sauce!

Blog Term2 Day9

Wow, what a day! I think that my Chinese dictation went terribly! I missed out on half of the paragraph! I guess I will get 20 or so out of 100..... that is just so sad, because I stayed up till 2am this morning working on my dictation. But then again, it is my fault for not having better time management. Anyways, more about the happy things, today, for lunch I had Vietnamese food. And I totally loved it. I got a vermicelli dish with grilled chicken and spring rolls. It was sooooooooo good. And guess what? I just finished dinner and I had rice with spinach, ribs and broccoli. I just realized I have talked so much about food! hahahaha! Well, I also went to Oakridge (like usual) and it was awesome! I went to Lululemon and got another headband (YAY!) and a pair of pants. You know how people say a "pair" of pants... I don't really get it. Shouldn't it be "a pant". There are 2 paint legs, but only 1 pant... anyways, yeah, that is pretty much what I did today. It is also movie night, but I have to finish at least 75% of my homework...

My random thought/statement of the day: I really like playing Cooking Mama on the DS.

Blog Term2 Day8

Another Friday, how sad... I wish that Chinese school wouldn't come so soon... I still have many things to do for Chinese school, and I really really wish I had more time. The problem is, because it's the end of term 1, all the teachers are giving the last tests. And I did 9 tests and quizzes this week. I think it is seriously a record! But now, it all comes down to the fact that I have a major dictation along with a lot of Chinese homework to do. I also did recycling after school, and that took about 1 hour and a half. Then, after that, I got a ride and came back home... and here I am.

My random thought/statement of the day: I had an onigiri today! Yay me!

Blog Term2 Day7

Wow, the grade 8 track meet was incredible! I think it was really a fun time and I will probably always remember it, even when I am in grade 12. Well, all the grade 12 people I have asked said that it was really fun and that they remember it, so I am pretty sure I will! I was on the blue team, and we got in third. Yay blue! I also wrote GO BLUE! on my arm. It was so much fun! I know I have already said that 18 times, but it was really really really awesome! I have lost half of my voice though, so I am trying not to talk too much. We had these cheering contests, and we were always cheering when somebody did a relay race, so after about the third race, my throat was already feeling a little weird. It was worth it in the end though, and I will always remember this day. I signed up for 3 games. The blowing ball game, the balance a ball on the ping pong racket game, and tug of war. Overall, it was a time I will never forget. I even made a couple of new friends, along with talking to a lot of people I haven't for a long time. I think the best part about the track meet is walking up to your lines and getting ready to win. It is especially fun since you know a lot of people and you chat and talk about how fun it is. I also really love hearing people saying, "Good luck!" and "Go blue, go!" I have also learned that cheering a team really helps. We were losing in tug of war and then, we started to cheer, and then we did a very good job! The people actually won, even though the odds looked really low. I think it gives motivation. Cheering helps me, anyways.

Blog Term2 Day6

Tomorrow is the day! I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Blue is sooooooooo gonna beat all the other colours! Wait and see! But if we win, I promise not to be a sore winner and if we lose, I promise not to be a sore loser. I have learned to overcome that REACTIVE obstacle, and it really does help. Anyways, it is all about fun and hanging out with friends isn't it? I just can't wait, it will be so much fun. I have blue shorts, a blue tee, and a blue headband to wear in support of my team. It is gonna be lots of fun! I have 3 events I am in. I know I wrote this last blog, but I am just so excited to write much about anything else.

The term ends on Friday, however we are only getting our report cards next next week. I wish they would come sooner, even though I already know my term 1 mark for science, math, French... and I think that is it.... But tomorrow, I will know my Fine Arts mark... I hope I get an A!!!!!!!!!!!! I also can't wait until the weekend, SHOPPING! I really really want to go shopping! I think my favourite clothes place is Garage! Yep, yep, yep! Hahahahaha!

My random thought/statement of the day: I also have the sudden urge to eat mangoes and papayas... I LOVE those fruits!

Blog Term2 Day5

Today, I had 4 tests! I know! That was so many, but at least I got them over with. There were 2 from French, 1 from fine arts and the last one was for P.E. I also can't wait till Thursday, because it's the grade 8 track meet. I seriously can't wait till Block A and B start! I have signed up for 3 events, and I sooooooo hope that we win! Then, I can brag a lot! hahahaha! I also really want to do that because then, I can do fun relays with my friends! Don't forget to root for team blue! My teacher said that we could paint our faces blue, but I don't think I'll do that. I will, however where blue shorts, a blue tee and a blue headband. I can already imagine all those awesome events. I think there are 6 teams in total. Blue (YAY), Black, White, Red, Green and Yellow. I think.... I'm not so sure about the red, green or yellow..... I better get going, I have a couple of major tests to study for.

My random thought/statement of the day: I visited one of my elementary school teachers with 2 of my friends today.

Blog Term2 Day4

Today, there was a play after school, and unlike all the ones I have seen before, this one was really serious and it had a very important lesson. Well, all the plays I have seen usually have a moral, but this one was more serious. It was about drugs and I totally got the lesson. The actors and actress were all very good. It only took 3 people to act and 1 person to do the special effects. I am truly amazed by the actors and the way they can act! It is so interesting! I especially love live plays, it is just so much fun!

That was probably the only thing that was interesting today, everything was just normal boring stuff. I wish that by the end of today, not only do I finish all my homework, play piano for at least 30 minutes, but I would love to memorize my Chinese dictation paragraph. Poor me!

My random thought/statement of the day: I'm still lovin' Klause Berry Farm's yummy bumbleberry shortcakes, even though I ate the last one in the morning. (Actually, I shared it with my brother, those shortcakes are really big, they are probably the size of 1 and a half baseballs.)

Blog Term2 Day3

You will NEVER guess where I went today! Unless you have been there, you would never know! Hint: It's not a mall. Okay, I'll just tell you! Today, my mum, dad, brother and I all went to Krause Berry Farm! We went there in the summer, with my cousins, grandpa, aunts and uncles but that was ages ago. Well, it felt like ages ago. It was in Langley and it took approximately 45 minutes to get there. It was totally worth it though! When we went in the summer, we got to pick blueberries (although they have all sorts of berries there, along with corn, pumpkins and squashes). Now that it is almost Christmas, there was nothing to pick, but they still had homemade frozen pies, jams, syrups, honey, and a whole lot of other stuff. When we went there, first, my parents got some jams (they taste really good, with lots of fruit). Then we got a couple other things. After that, we went to their cafe. There, we ordered 2 bumbleberry shortcakes, each at $2.00 and for me, an apple cider, my parents got a coffee and my brother got a yummy hot chocolate. Their weren't that many people, but during the summer time, we had to line up to get a ride to go to the blueberry bushes. It was really fun though! (By the way, those bumbleberry shortcakes are to die for! I loved them soooooooo much, in the end, we got 2 to go, but I ate half of one when we got back. hehehehe). Then we came back, and here I am typing this. Oh yeah, one more thing: In the summer time, they had these totally awesome berry milkshakes. They don't have them now (since it's almost winter) but they had awesome cider.

In other words: I LOVE KRAUSE BERRY FARM!

My random thought/statement of the day: If you get a chance, you should totally go there, they have a website that you should go visit. Here it is: http://www.krausebrothersfarms.com/

Blog Term2 Day2

Today, was the usual Saturday schedule... so nothing new to write. But after piano lessons, I went to Oakridge where I got a new tee! It's purple and I really really like it. But the only reason I could get it was because it was on sale. (Well, actually all of the tees and tanks/camis at Garage are 50% off, so that is pretty good. I saw it a couple days ago, and I really liked it, so I am super duper glad I got it!

Tonight, I have to finish at least 75% of my school homework, or else I can't go anywhere tomorrow. And, even though I have already went shopping yesterday and 10 minutes today, I would still like some relaxation time. The only bad thing about life so far, is that the term is ending, and I have at 8 quizzes and tests. (I am NOT exaggerating!) But I guess all the teachers want to finish up the unit, and I really really should get going. I want to do well in school, but I think I am putting too much pressure on myself, and I am not getting enough time to "chill". But don't worry, I have been doing pretty good. I just wish we weren't given homework over the weekend, because that is seriously the only time I can loosen up a little.

My random thought/statement of the day: I want to eat some strawberry pie.

Blog Term2 Day1

I hope this is the right title..... I think it is, even though the term hasn't fully ended, but we already emailed the tally for Term 1... Well, it should be okay, it's not a big deal if it is wrong. I could always just change it... I think.

Today, I had such an awesome day! It wasn't the best in the world, but it certainly counted for something! Do you want to hear/read about it? If you say yes, then good for you. If you say no, that is too bad, cuz I'm gonna write about it anyways! Firstly, I woke up at 9:30am, giving me a total of 9 and a half hours of sleep! YES! Then, my mum and I went shopping at Oakridge. There, we bought some mandarin oranges and I get 2 tees from Garage! I was so happy! One was red and the other, blue. Then, we picked up my brother (who just got out of school) and we had lunch. We ate at this really yummy Korean place. The food there, was really good, and I was really full and content at the end. Then, we went to Richmond Centre and we went to Garage again (the Garage at Richmond Centre is bigger than the one in Oakridge, which means it has more styles and variety). There, I got 2 more tees. One was a long sleeved shirt (grey) and the other was a t-shirt (green). After that, we went to the food court, where my mom got a carrot/apple/celery juice, and my brother got an ice cream. I didn't get anything, because I felt that I had already gotten a lot of stuff today, and I didn't deserve anything else. hahahaha.

My random thought/statement of the day: If you were bored by the first half of the second paragraph, sorry! hahahaha.

Yay, Thursday finally! Now, I can go shopping tomorrow! There are so many things I want to get from Garage! They are having a sale on select wear, and I am more than certain I can pick something up! I mean, 50% off! Now, that is what I call an awesome deal! I think I could probably get 3 tees for under $20! I can't wait, but the thing I am most excited about is sleeping early, I am determined to sleep at latest 10:30pm tonight! Then, I can wake up at 9 am and then have breakfast followed by shopping! Yay! There is also a pair of really cute boots from Payless that I really really really want to get! I want to get a couple more hoodies too (if I can). A girl can never have too much clothes! Just typing this makes me excited!

I had a science test today, and I think I did quite well! There were 2 questions I didn't know, but I am pretty sure that it would be okay... Well, I hope so anyways! I really really like Science. I am sure I said that last blog, but I just had to say it again! I also have to study for my Chinese dictation... so I better jet!

Blog Term1 Day76

Today, was like a Friday day, it was so much fun! I was so glad to leave school 1 hour early! This week is actually kinda weird. Not only do we have a pro-d day, but we also have a shorter day! Yay! The only bad thing is, I can't get Onigiris on Friday... I love the school's Onigiris! They are so yummy! They are fairly big, so I think the maximum anyone could eat would be 2. I also really like the school's Onigiri poster, whoever drew it made it seem really cute! There are a lot of posters around the school, and I found out it is a really good way of advertising! They also had this poster about Gift Cards, and I think I might get 1 or 2. They truly are good gifts, and I am sure my mom and dad would like a Starbucks gift card. I mean, who wouldn't? Even if you didn't like coffee, they have frappachinos (drinks without caffeine, also the stuff I love to drink). I think I might also treat myself to a Garage gift card. Then, my Christmas shopping for my friends would be over! Wouldn't that be awesome? I think so!

My random thought/statement of the day: I love Science! It is my favourite subject ever, in elementary school, it wasn't as fun, but in high school, it's a blast! I want to become a semi-science geek...

Blog Term1 Day75

Boy, do I have a lot of homework to do! It is slowly consuming me! Soon, I will explode. Seriously, these days, I haven't had much sleep. Last night, I stayed up till 1am working on my map, and the time before that, my Chinese homework. This is really unfortunate! I haven't had a break to just relax for ages! Even when I am sleeping, I am working on processing all the important information I did/learned during the day. (I learned that in Applied Skills!) But, I just wish that I could have some time to just relax! I get migraines really easily, thanks to stress... I would love to relax, but I just DON'T have any time. I barely have time to spend with friends, besides lunch time! I think I am working over-time, because my lack of sleep is slowly catching up to me... during school today, I was sleepy by 3rd block. And every morning, I wake up at around 7:15am! That is not enough hours for sleeping.

My random thought/statement of the day: Please don't pile on the homework! I BEG you!!!!!!!!!

I am sooooooo hungry! I haven't had a morsel of food since 11:30, and it's 6:30! My tummy feels really weird. Dinner is gonna be ready in half an hour... I think, so there is no point in me eating anything. I have so much homework to do! And for P.E, I have a written test. That is so funny! Then again, I have had a written test from P.E before, so I don't think it is much of a surprise, but still. This week, I will be extrememely busy. I have 2 tests and a couple of quizes in the horizon, so I have no time to sit back and relax. There is also Chinese dictation, and trust me, this week is crazy! The paragraph we are supposed to do a dictation on is super duper long. At least we don't have to memorize it! That would have been torture! I also have a slight headache... I don't know how. I drank a lot of homework, and I didn't bang it or anything. Actually, I get headaches really easily. It is one of my problems. I don't think there is anything wrong with my brain, it just hurts easily. Sometimes, if it gets really bad, I have to take an Advil, but I try not to, because medication shouldn't be taken until necessary. Man, I'm hungry!

I was listening to them when I was working on my pictorial map for socials. Even though I stayed up late last night, I still have quite a bit of homework to complete. I feel extra tired right now, so I'm not going to write too much in my blog today. Then, I can complete all my Chinese homework along with homework from school. I also have a major Science test coming up and I should seriously start studying.

Today, after Chinese school and piano lessons, I went to Metropolis at Metrotown and it was awesome! I didn't get anything, but my mom and brother did. It was really fun. Blog Term1 Day71

You know what the funny thing about Chinese school is? It is really painful and hard, but in the end, it's helpful. I am facing a huge dilemma. This year is my last Chinese school year, which means I am graduating. I'm happy because I can get it over with, but I really really really don't want to loose this skill over these years. Since last year, I haven't really been putting my full effort into Chinese school. I used to be really really good, but now, I'm practically the worst in my class. My reading and writing skills are really bad, and my talking isn't that awesome either. I find that it is really hard for me to learn a language when I only use it so little during the day. I mean, my parents and grandpa speak Chinese to me, and I listen at home. But it is the writing and reading that is terrible. If someone stuck a Chinese book under my book, and ordered me to read, I could only make out a couple of words. It's not that I tune out during Chinese school. I don't. It's just the fact that I use it, and then I forget. If I didn't forget all the words, and kept them all in my head, I could read almost as good as my mom. But I forgot it all, and it's all coming back at me... at my last year in Chinese school. Now, I will probably just make it to graduation, with all the stuff that I have learned over these past 13 years, gone. I regret it, I truly do, but it seems too late to do anything... is it? I only have about half a year to learn this language. Can I do it? I think I can (wait, isn't that reactive?) Okay, you know what? I will! try. It just seems so intimidating. And as I sit here, I realize that if I don't keep up my Chinese, I highly doubt I every will. It will just slip away over the years until the only thing I know will be my Chinese name... One of these days, I will move to China or Hong Kong for a year or two, until my Chinese is perfect, and then, I will come back and complete the rest of my life in Canada. Yeah, that sounds like a good plan. I will make that one of my goals. I will do this thing!

In a couple of minutes, my brother is going to swimming lessons. I would like to finish the swimming course (there are 10 levels, and I have finished 8 of them). I don't feel very excited today. I was earlier, but now, I feel down in the dumps. I am glad to write in my blog. It is a nice way to debrief. Tonight, my mom is making her signature wontons, and I can't wait! I think the main reason I am not too happy is I have a French skit that I have to perform tomorrow, and last time's skit didn't go too well, especially when we have to memorize it. I don't do good memorizing foreign languages. I just don't. I also have a Cantonese story to memorize in front of my class for Chinese school. At least it isn't Mandarin, like last week. As I write this, my mom is starting to wrap the wontons. I would love to help her, but after blog, I have to shower, and after that, homework from school. Once I'm done that, it will probably be dinner. Then, after dinner, I have to play piano. Followed closely by Chinese homework and dictation. Then, if I'm lucky, I can sleep at 11pm. That is the earliest I have slept in 2 weeks or so. I still have loads of Chinese homework to complete, so I better hurry along!

Blog Term1 Day68

Le date: 11 novembre. Je parle francais! Just kidding, that is as much as I know, I will now write the rest in anglais. Hahaha, I have to practice for a French skit, so I am talking as much French as possible. Well, kinda. Today, since we don't have to go to school, Rememberance Day, I have to do extra Chinese homework. Poor me, but I think it's better because then, I can relax a litte bit more! Today, is also a day to remember those who died in order to give us, Canadians freedom!

I am really sleepy, even though I slept until 9 this morning. But I know why. That's becasue right after waking up, I started to read, making my eyes tired. I know I shouldn't do that, but the books was just too good I couldn't put it down. So now, after about half an hour, I have pried myself away from it to do my blog and Chinese homework. The book I am reading is called Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones. I only got to take 2 books out from the library, and I have already read 1 and a half of them. This is really sad. I NEED BOOKS! Well, I could always just get a couple from the school library, but still.

Today, at school, there was a Remembrance Day assembly. I had mine in first period, and I thought it was very good, even though it was for a very solemn reason. I especially thought that the slide show and the people talking were very good. I have to say the choir was really really really good. The way they sung was so good, the songs were picked out really nicely and since I was in my elementary school choir, I know what the audience is looking for, and the choir did it practically perfectly. It sounded so good!

Tonight, I am gonna have hot pot, something that I haven't had for 2 years, and the last time was Christmas. I love hot pot, and every time I have it, it reminds me of all the fun Christmases that I have had before. I love Christmas, it is soooo much fun! Not just the presents, but the carols, the snow, the neon signs, everything! Especially having family here! But for now, I don't have much else to say. Wait until Christmas, and I will be extra happy, and extra awake. I just LOVE Christmas!

Blog Term1 Day66

I didn't really follow the schedule I made yesterday, so now, I am stuck with a lot of homework to do. Okay, no a lot, but some. I haven't done any of my Chinese homework yet either, so that is something I really have to do. After that, I will do some English, and something else, the schedule will come along as time pasts. I guess.

Today feels like a gloomy day, so I feel gloomy. It is not even sunny, just cold and cloudy. Usually, in times like these, I also want to nap. After this blog, I am gonna finish off my Chinese homework and then ask for a 30 minute nap. I LOVE naps! They are so energizing! But then again, I like lots of stuff, like sushi, mandarin oranges, shopping, reading, the list goes on and on.

Last night, I watched Kung Fu Panda with my mom and brother, it was sooooooooooooo funny, I was laughing my butt off (not literally). When I first heard about it, I thought it would be one of those really cheezy stories, but it was funny without being all cheezy. If you have not watched it yet, you HAVE to! There were some really really funny parts where I couldn't help laughing and others where it was really serious.

I wanted to get an Orange Julius, but it was kinda cold outside, so I didn't. I am planning to do all of my Chinese school homework and all of my day 1 homework, and if I have time, half of my day 2 work. Then, tomorrow, all I have to do is a little school homework, piano and study for dictation! That will probably leave me with some time to shop and relax. Yay! Today, I had so much Chinese to complete, and frankly, I don't think I have enough time, I'm not gonna write too much, I think that I should just start studying Chinese. Today, the old dog pound was selling Onigiris again, and I wanted to get one, but I was a little too late. Today, I also decorated my best friend's locker, with the help of another friend. It was funny, because I wanted to do it before school, but she was already there, so I couldn't. Later, we were hoping to decorate it at lunch, but she ate at her locker today, so in the end, we decorated it in front of her. We were hoping to do it as a surprise, but in the end, it wasn't really a surprise. It was actually kinda funny.

Blog Term1 Day63

I had 3 quizzes today, and I actually think I did good in all of them. The math one was pretty easy, along with the French one, and I kinda enjoyed my fine arts test. The only bad part was I got the butterflies when the teacher called my name, but I am sure that I will get over it. We had to play a piece of music we wrote, and since the whole class was listening, there was a lot of pressure and I made a couple of mistakes. But the overall song was played really well, since whenever I made a mistake, I covered it up. I hope that I get a good result on all 3 tests!

Today was the block rotations, so it was a little confusing, since it took me some time to get used to the old one, and now it's a totally new schedule! But in the end, I figured it out. I hope I don't mess up tomorrow! One of the bad parts about having P.E first block, is that you get all sweaty and worn out. By third block, I seriously didn't think I could hang on for another minute. But of course in the end, I did. I still think my old rotations were the best.

I can't wait till Saturday (after Chinese school). Then, I can relax for 3 hours (tops). I want to do some shopping for clothes. But then again, I think everything has gone up. Everywhere I go, people are talking about how the economy is going down and how the price of everything is going up. I think I should stop wanting to go shopping since even the GROCERIES are getting more expensive. Just last week or so, my Chinese school teacher was talking about how the price of rice has gone up. But all I want is this blue pullover from Garage (it's on sale for only $20). But then again, I'm not the one paying. So maybe I should just stop "wanting" things. I should help more around the house too, like do more chores. That might help!

My random thought/statement of the day: If I speed walk, I can make it back home in 10 minutes! Maybe I should do that more, then, I have more time for homework and that kind of thing.

Blog Term1 Day62

I feel kinda mad right now. I did the online premier go quiz today and I get a 80!!!!!!!!! I not mad at the mark, okay, yes I am, but mostly mad at question 7. The question is: Not everyone has the willpower to "Press Pause."True or False. And I wrote true, but apparently it is wrong! Maybe I am the one who is wrong, but sometimes, people just DO NOT have the willpower! I mean babies DO NOT, sometimes I DO NOT. Now, what quiz just put me in a bad mood. I used to be all happy, but now, I am feeling tired and mad. Even when today was Collaborative planning day, I did not get any extra sleep because I had to wake up early if I wanted to catch a ride. (My backpack is very heavy.) I didn't get too much homework today, so I feel very happy, but I have 3 quizzes tomorrow. One for math, one for French and one for Fine Arts. Tonight, I am not planning on doing too much school work. More Chinese school stuff. But right now, I feel like nodding off to sleep. Literally. My teddy bear is right beside me again so yeah.

I am upset with myself because I got a bad mark on my test for applied skills today. I got 83%. Yeah, the Asian fail. Then, I also got back my Science test, and I got 88%. My average used to be 95% or so, and now because of my test, it's 88%! I feel so tired and slow. Almost as if I have no energy. I also feel very full. I am not the least bit hungry. Maybe I could skip dinner and sleep instead, then I could save time. I feel very full anyways. When I got back home, I had 2 small yogurt cups and a piece of toast. I have so much Chinese to complete!

My random thought/statement of the day: I wish I could read and speak Chinese really fluently.

Blog Term1 Day61

Man, I am sooooo tired, I bet I can't make it until 8 without a nap! I still have to do lots of homework, so I better hurry. Usually, this is the first piece of homework that I do. Then, I do the rest of the stuff. I didn't get to do as much Chinese homework as I would have liked, so I really need to do more. That is, once I finished all my school homework and practicing piano. I really wish we could just have a day to relax and not have to worry about homework. Sometimes, I feel kinda stressed out about not having ANY free time. I might get 2-3 hours over the weekend, but that is it. Either I am in class (school, Chinese school or piano lessons), or I am doing my homework or studying. Anyway, enough about complaining. I do enough of that already.

My day was really good. After school, 3 of my closest friends in the whole entire universe went to visit our grade 7 teacher. He is soooooooo awesome! He is in this band and he is really good at playing the guitar and singing. He was the one that truly introduced me to guitars and stuff, even if I don't take lessons... He is also really funny and can take jokes well. When I was in grade 7, I had soooo much fun, it feels good to talk to my old teachers who really know me. Especially elementary school ones because they get a whole year to see who you are. That is one of the perks about being in elementary school.

My random thought/statement of the day: Today, at school, I got hash browns in the morning. Yay me! By the way, they were really good!

Blog Term1 Day60

HA, day 60!!!!!!!!!!! That is crazy-cool! My new teddy bear is right beside me as I write this, so that is kinda nice. Tuffy (my bear's name) is sooooooooo warm! We had our Applied Skills test today, and you know what? It wasn't hard, in fact, it was fun, I just wish we had more time. Some of the drawings, I had to rush on, making it not as pretty as I wanted. But at least we don't have to colour or fineline them. If we had to do that, I would soooooo fail! That was one of the funest test I have ever had. (Is funest a word, and if it isn't, it should be!) Well, today, I don't have that much homework, but I still have to play piano and study for Chinese, so actually, I DO have a lot to complete. Poor me! Oh well, that is just too bad, if I work faster and don't lag, I think I might be able to complete all my school homework by 8, which leaves me an hour for piano and finally an hour for Chinese. Then, I can sleep at 10:30? (I still have to pack for school and wash up). Hmmmmmmmm... this could work...

My random thought/statement of the day: Since I don't have have field hockey anymore, after school tomorrow, I could go visit my old grade 7 teacher...

Blog Term1 Day59

In about half an hour, I am going to Oakridge mall to watch High School Musical 3! I can't wait! I hear it is very good, and since I liked the first 2, I am sure to like this last one! I also like going to the movies. Last time I went, it was the summer and I watched Indian Jones with my cousins, brother auntie and uncle. It was really good and I love watching everything on big screen and in really loud volume! Once, when I went to this totally awesome birthday party, we watched Pirates of the Caribbean 3 in really loud volume, so that it was like the movies, but it was sooooo loud, the whole house shook, especially in the beginning, when the Davy Jones' heart was beating. It would be like THUMP-THUMP... THUMP-THUMP. Soooo crazy! Well, anyways, I'll tell you what I thought about High School Musical 3 in my blog tomorrow.

Remember how I said that I got a teddy from Build-A-Bear yesterday, well, apparently, Tuffy (the name of the bear) is totally huggable, so if you are ever planning on getting a teddy bear, go to Build-A-Bear (just saying).

I am actually really enjoying writing these blogs, it is a nice way to debrief, or just talk. As for the new course in Middle Years, I think Middle Years is fine as it is. I don't think there should be a Middle Years P.E because that is just weird, to me, it makes me feel like I am special needs or something. Imagine saying,"Hey, I go to Middle Years P.E!" No offence, but just plain weird. I think lots of people might want Middle Years math, since it is academic, but to tell you the truth, if Middle Years included math, I don't think I would have wanted to join as much... No French, because that is what "French Immersion" is for and no Fine Arts, cuz that would be just weird... or is it? I like Middle Years as it is!

My random thought/statement of the day: I like to eat persimmons! (Is that how you spell it?)

Blog Term1 Day58

YAY ME!!!!!!!!!! I had one of the best days of my life! Okay, well maybe not the best (thanks to Chinese school) but good enough. First, I went to Chinese school for 2 and a half hours. (Trust me, after about 1 hour from sitting in a really uncomfortable chair, you get a major wedgie!) Then, I had my mom's totally awesome congee for lunch. After lunch, I went to piano lessons. After that, my mom, brother and me went to Metopolis at Metrotown, where I got to make me very first teddy bear at Build-A-Bear! It was sooooooooo much fun, and in the end, I named him Tuffy. I LOVE me teddy bear! You know how some people think that teddy bears are for babies, that is sooooooooo bogis, I have soooo many stuffies that I sleep with, half of my bed is covered with them! Anyways, then, I went to Lululemon and got a black and grey headband. After going to Lululemon, we went to Toys R Us for my brother to get Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Finally, we went to the food court and got a plain soft pretzel. I absolutely LOVE soft pretzels!

When we got back home, I did a little bit of homework and then had dinner. We had this really yummy grilled chicken from this place called Nandos. The chicken was good and I really enjoyed it. After dinner, I watched this documentary about hippos, and then now, I am doing my blog.

My random thought/statement of the day: I LOVE hippos, even though they are really dangerous!
