Blog Term2 Day40

Today is the last day of 2008! Whew! This is actually quite interesting. I love to count down to midnight whenever this happens. The funny thing is, usually there are relatives over or (last New Year's Eve) we were in Hong Kong. It was really cool, because the hotel we were staying in had this huge midnight buffet, but we didn't participate in it, even though it was free and there was lots of food. Actually, we would have, but we had a huge dinner with relatives so we didn't. I was thinking of sneaking down in my PJs' and getting something, but by the time I showered and got ready for bed, I was really really tired. I just love Hong Kong so much. Even when you are shopping, the feel of it is totally different. I also love the malls in Hong Kong, they are so cool and funky and (well, lets just put it this way) I LOVE HONG KONG! I also got a lot of headbands there! But the thing that is really interesting about it, is that at Hong Kong, there were so many things to do and so little time, so once we woke up (around 8am) we wouldn't stop till we got back to the hotel at around (12am). But then we would have to shower and wash up, so it would be around (1am) before we got to bed. But at least I was so tired I feel right to sleep. I wanted to write a journal everyday before bed. And I did! Except a couple nights when I was to tired to, but the next day, I would write more. I usually did it when we got back and I was waiting for a turn in the shower.

I don't know about you... but I love hotels! They are the best! And the hotel I went to was connected to a mall, so you could go down to the lobby and up a flight of stairs, and you would be at this mall. So usually, my mom, brother and me would go to the supermarket in the morning, and buy a whole bunch of fresh stuff. There were also a whole bunch of restaurants including a Japanese one! Japanese restaurants in Hong Kong are super duper expensive. But we ate there once. It was good, but not nearly as fresh as it is here, in Vancouver. I have lots to write, but I will not write all of it because that would be 2 weeks of writing! Hahahahaha!

My random thought/statement of the day: I love Hong Kong soooooooooooo much!

I just love winter break so much! And I can't believe in about 5 nights, we have to go back to school! Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! I just love relaxing, watching movies, reading, shopping and emailing my friends so much! But I guess we have to go to school eventually... The only part I don't like is the fact that I have lots of homework to do... Chinese and school stuff. But I am planning to do lots today. In fact, I don't think I will leave this house much. Well, that is my goal, so that I complete more homework in a shorter amount of time. I am going to type out my English, finish my notes for AppSkills, and study for my Mandarin and Cantonese exam lots!

My random thought/statement of the day: I get to have sushi for lunch! Yay!

Blog Term2 Day38

My cousin makes the best pastries on earth! She once took a baking course in France, so she is very very very good! She makes a whole bunch of yummy pastries and since she is here this winter break, she made us lots of really yummy cakes, cookies and other pastries. I was snacking on some almond crackers she made just as second ago. She also made us chocolate chip cookies, chocolate cake and a coffee cake. My favourite pastry she makes is this shell-shaped tea biscuit called Madeline. I'm not sure if I spelt it right, because the actual name is in French. But they are just so good!

My random thought/statement of the day: This winter break has been fun, boring and tiring all rolled up in one so far. :)

Blog Term2 Day37

YAY! Even though I missed Boxing Day, apparently, I didn't miss the Boxing Day SALE. But I did miss one thing... the crowds! YAY ME! Of course there were crowds, but not as many people came as the day before. We went shopping yesterday and the mall was really crowded, but compared to what I saw on the news before, it was like nothing. I didn't end up getting very much though. Just a bag. But that sure was better than not getting anything! I also went to some of my favourite clothing places but there was nothing good. Even if some of the items were $10 and less. I can't believe Boxing Day only comes once a year! Now that is what I call unfortunate! But usually, there are sidewalk sales at different malls, so you can still get good deals.

Enough about shopping though, I still have lots of work to complete. So probably for the rest of the week (hopefully after today) I will be staying home to complete it all. Even though I have complete lots, I have a whole lot more to do. Including practicing a speech for my Applied Skills Powerpoint. To tell you the truth, I don't want to go shopping today. I feel like I should be working more, even if it is break.

My random thought/statement of the day: My cousin baked this really yummy Black Forest cake, and even though I don't like chocolate, I've gotta admit, it tasted really really good!

Blog Term2 Day36

Okay... so I didn't get to go shopping because of the snow... but I think we might be able to go today! I completed lots of homework yesterday, so at least I know that I'm not too behind. But it was agony to watch the news and every few minutes or so, the news reporters would say something about boxing day. The news also showed people lining up for hours just to buy something. So in other words, I spent yesterday doing homework when a whole bunch of people got first dibs on everything! How terribly sad! :( Some of my favourite stories had up to 70% off! But I highly doubt there would be much of anything left after boxing day. Even though my shopping experience was terrible so far, at least (and I am proud to say) I finished some of my homework. But even though I completed lots, I still have lots to go. I still need to study my Chinese, finish off my Power Point, and type out a couple things but it should be fine. I still have another week. I just wish that we could have more time! That would make life so much better! I also wish that Friday was a weekend day. So we only have to go to school for 4 days a week instead of 5. Now that would be the life! :) But then again, I don't think the school board people would allow that, so there is no use in dreaming.

My random thought/statement of the day: Did you get to go Boxing Day shopping?

Blog Term2 Day35

Okay, it's Boxing Day, and so far, it hasn't stopped snowing since I woke up this morning. I really really like snow, but it is kinda getting in the way for shopping... Even if it stopped snowing, there would still be lots of snow and ice on the roads, but with snow, well, it just makes it harder to drive anywhere. But enough about that, I have big plans for completing homework today. And I will do whatever I can to finish that homework. A week has passed, and it is almost back to school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, it's not back to school yet, but we are halfway there. What a tragedy!!!!

My random thought/statement of the day: I feel so sleepy even though I slept for 9 hours!

YAY!!!!!!!!!! Christmas is here! Okay, to tell you the truth Christmas is totally awesome, but now, I am gonna have to say goodbye to everybody's "Christmas Spirit". I guess it's okay, but then I have to wait for another year! Christmas is my favourite time of the year! Hey, it's like that song: It's the most, wonderful time, of the year! But to tell you the truth, I just love Christmas! I like everything about Christmas! The snow, the carols, the Santas, the decorations at the malls, the Christmas trees. But I wish that I could go shopping tomorrow. I still don't really get the concept of Boxing Day, but it seems like a day where a lot of things are on sale. I just hope that we can go out tomorrow! I really would like to go to Metrotown! Even though I went just 2 days ago..... Actually, I wouldn't mind any mall, it's just that Metrotown is so LARGE! Metropolis at Metrotown has every single store I know! And the food court is so big, there are a lot of choices. There is Indian, Italian, Japanese, Thai, and a whole lot of other foods to be tried! Last time I went, I had a really yummy dish of butter chicken on rice with some Naan bread. It was really really really good! Anyways, enough about that, I just hope that you have a very Merry Christmas!

My random thought/statement of the day: For Christmas, I got my mom a candle, my brother a bar of chocolate, and I chipped in to get my dad a wheel cover for his car.

Blog Term2 Day33

It has snowed so much! In the morning, it snowed lots and then it stopped, so my dad, brother and I went outside to clear the sidewalks. We were outside for probably about 30 minutes. Then, my mom called us to go inside for lunch. We had homemade spaghetti and pizza! (Actually, my cousin made the pizza.) Then, after lunch we were hoping to finish up where we left off, but it started to snow again, and it hasn't stopped. Seriously, there is much snow! There is probably 20 centimeters. We are definitely gonna get a white Christmas! I haven't been working this morning. Hehehehehehehehe. And to tell you the truth, I feel like slacking off, but I can't because so far, my average is a B for most of my subjects. I am so scared about school when this vacation is over! All the teachers are making term 2 sound like agony! Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually think that term 3 is better than term 2. But I am determined to do well. I just think term 1 has worn me down. But never fear, I am determined to get A's! I just have to work harder and stop studying for tests at the last minute. Because I have noticed these days, I am always studying for my tests during the block before the actual test. Terrible right? But I am determined to fix that flaw! Yay me!

Blog Term2 Day32

I was hoping for a break with a lot of shopping and not so much homework. But that isn't really happening....... this morning, I read a book (and finished it) and then I worked on some of my English homework. I drew a title page, but after fine lining it, I think it looks really bad. I know I am being all negative, but there is seriously nothing good about right now. All I am doing is homework, and because it is snowy and cold, we aren't going anywhere! This is sad and boring. The only time I can actually relax is in the summer. But then, I also have to practice piano, and stuff like that. I also have to do "summer homework". (Gag!) Life is just an unfortunate cycle of homework. I just realized that I am always working. I just wish the Chinese exams wouldn't be right after the break. So the Chinese school people are pretty much telling us that we have to work over the holiday. Poo-ey! Life is just so BORING!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! Hahahahahaha! Okay, that was just for fun. I just love fast-typing! Yay me!

Blog Term2 Day31

For the whole morning, all I did was help my dad clear the sidewalks. It might sound like I didn't enjoy it, but it was so much fun! My brother, dad and I went outside at around 9:30am and worked until 11:30am. We were out for 2 hours, and it was so much fun! First, we cleared the backyard, and then we went to the front yard. The car was covered in 6 inches of snow (we measured) and we had to brush all of it off. But it turns out that underneath all that snow, there was a layer of ice, so we had to let the ice slowly melt by itself. In the end, all the snow was gone and the car now looks really clean and shiny! What a good way to wash your car! My mom's car was in the garage, so we only cleaned off my dad's car. Then, my brother and I decided to make a snowman, but instead of a man, we made a snow Yoshi. Okay, I admit that we are not done. In fact, we only make Yoshi's feet and legs... It's just that I am no good at doing that kinda thing. The only thing I can make is one big snow ball! And it isn't really a ball, it's just a blob...... Hahahahahahaha! I just love the snow! But would prefer to go sledding down hills. Now that is fun! The hills at Laurier are pretty good, but the ones at Churchill are soooo steep! In grade 6, I remember only half the class attended school because it snowed so much, that we got to go sledding for the whole day! We went to Churchill, and I remember there was a certain part that was so steep, my butt hurt so much by the end of it. I also remember falling off my sled so many times, but in the end, it was just a really fun time. I really really really really really really really really LOVE snow!

My random thought/statement of the day: The snow on the garage is at least a foot if not more!

Blog Term2 Day30

Wow, it is snowing so hard! It's awesome! I just love the snow so much! If only I had a sledding board or something, those things are so much fun! I haven't had the chance to go sledding at all this year, and I don't think I will. Those boards are so expensive! I love sledding down the hills though, it's fun and exhilarating! And since there is fresh snow, it would be even better. I could share a board with my brother and we could sled down the hills together! I once saw a board at Costco for $30, but that is still expensive for a piece of coloured foam. Those things are seriously overpriced. But then again, a lot of clothing shops sell clothes that are seriously overpriced yet I still say that it is a really good deal. I guess these things are all relevant! Today, I am planning to start my studying for my two Chinese exams, and I think I will do some English work on The Pearl. I would also like to work on my brain project for applied skills, but all my books are currently at my cousin's house for scanning. The Internet doesn't seem to have very good pictures of the brain, or they are too complex, so I have decided to get pictures from the book because they are detailed and specific. It is always better to get your information from books rather than the Internet, because people could be lying when they write something on their website. But books have to be published and edited, so the results are usually better.

Blog Term2 Day29

Just think, next Saturday, I will have no classes at all! That is sooooooooo awesomely sweet! The only problem is, I still have lots of work to finish up, so I will only be relaxing half the time, I also have to bring up my marks, because me average for most of my classes is a B. I know, I really have to work harder. It's not the work that I am lacking "power" in, but the tests! For all my tests, my average is a B! This is really bad, because I have to maintain my marks! I don't know what is wrong with me. But these days, I am sleeping late, and not really studying for my tests. And when I do study for my tests, I do it last minute. The only tests I don't study last minute for are my science tests. But that is not abnormal for me because I love science. In fact, I think that science is sooooooo much fun! It's like shopping, but totally different. Hahahaha.

Today, I went to the lululemon outlet, and got a pair of pants! I think the original price was $90 something, but I got it for only $34! Now that is what I call a good deal, but then again, I wasn't the one paying..... The material is super smooth and slippery and apparently it's organic. (The material.) There was another pair of pants but it was a crop, and I am NOT gonna wear a crop when it is minus something degrees. I could get for summer, but I might get bigger by then, so I usually don't get clothes until the time has come unless I am sure that the size will be right. I LOVE my pants so much! I am super duper happy I got them! Yay me!

Blog Term2 Day28

Finally, it's winter break! I am somewhat excited. The only thing that is blocking my excitement is the fact that I still have to practice piano tonight and I have 1 last Chinese school lesson along with 1 more piano lesson and then I have 2 weeks off. Unfortunately, I know that these 2 weeks will go by really quickly, and before I know it, it's back to school! Now that is what I call sad. It happens every time! At the beginning of a holiday, I write about how much time I have and then suddenly, it's time to go back to school! All the teachers are telling us to have a good holiday and relax and not do anything, but I still have lots of things to do. This is terribly sad. But I think that if I finish all my things in the first week, I could get the other week off, and that would make my life a little better. I am also planning on doing a lot of shopping and sleeping. I hope that I get lots of sleep. I am actually getting sleepy as I write this. I really really really need to catch up on my sleep. Hopefully, I can sleep by 10. I will probably play piano for an hour, finish up my rudiments and then sleep.

My random thought/statement of the day: I can't wait till Christmas morning, then, I can open up my presents. Hahahaha!

Blog Term2 Day27

Tomorrow is the last day of school until winter break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSS! I seriously can't wait. Not only am I gonna wake up really late, but I am gonna watch movies, eat lots of food (not too much!), relax, go shopping and more. But I also have to do some homework... I have an applied skills project I have to work on, and some English too. But the main honker(s) are my Chinese exams! I have a Mandarin exam and a Cantonese exam to do, and trust me, they are really really really really really really really hard. It takes about 2 hours and a half to do the Cantonese one, and only about an hour to do the Mandarin one, but it still takes massive studying.

During the party, we watched Iron Man, and I LOVED it! The story was based on the comic (I think), and the special effects were amazing! Iron Man is one of those movies that a lot of editing, and special graphics are needed. There were also a lot of funny parts. Okay, about the actual party. First, we decorated the room during lunch break. Then, we played a game called Grinch gifts, and at the end, I walked home with a pretty candle and a chocolate bar. It was really fun, because all the gifts were wrapped and you didn't know what was inside. It was also really fun to anticipate when (or if) someone was going to take my gift. I was really hoping that nobody would, because I liked mine so much! And in the end, nobody did. YAY!!!!!!!!! After the gift exchange, we got some food and settled down for the movie. Most of the food consisted of chips, pop and cupcakes, but I managed to get 2 pieces of sushi and a small slice of pizza. I also resisted the temptation of getting the chips and the cupcakes, but to tell you the truth, I don't like sweet stuff, so I didn't find it hard to resist the cupcakes. It was hard for me to not eat the chips though, but I did it, and I am very proud of myself. I had a cup of lychee flavoured pop, and that was it. But then again, before the party started, I bought something light from the caf.

I LOVED walking home today. There was so much fresh snow, and I just love making snow men and stuff. I also can't wait till the party tomorrow! It goes on for 2 periods plus lunch break, so it is gonna be practically 3 hours. Yay! I LOVE parties, and this is gonna be the first actual party I have ever had in grade 8. That would make it my first party in high school! We are exchanging gifts, and I can't wait. The deal is, everyone has to bring a gift, and then we exchange them. To make a long paragraph short, I can't wait till the party!

Sorry, I don't have too much to write today. Oh yeah, one thing, I had 2 tests today. A math test and a square dancing test. I think I did okay in each, although I messed up practically every dance in square dancing except 2. Hehehehe. I hope I didn't cause others to lose some marks!

Another day, and it was awesome! The first class I had was English, and it was fun. And my English teacher said, next class, she is gonna make us hot chocolate! Yay! Then, for socials, we learned about ancient Rome, and I just happen to LOVE anything to do with ancient civilizations, so that was awesome. (When I grow up, I want to be an Egyptologist!) So, that was really really really great. And then for Applied Skills, we watched the movie Elf. I LOVE that movie. I watched it once before, but that story never gets old! That was a movie that was seriously funny! I love the story, and Buddy, the main character is just so sweet and innocent! Elf is also one of those stories with a moral, and it was also very Christmasy. My favourite part was when Buddy ripped the beard off the fake Santa's face and there was a fight. Then, we went to science, which is my favourite subject. I just love science, it is sooooooooo fun!!!!!

Blog Term2 Day24

Today was a really cool day because when I walked home, the ground was really slippery! I was wearing boots though, so it wasn't as slippery as it could have been. It was so fun slipping and sliding on the ice and snow! The thing is, the roads were really really slippery so the cars had to go really slowly, and when I was crossing the road, I had to be extra extra careful. The sidewalks were fine though, because people would sprinkle salt onto them. I just LOVE snow. I would prefer snow over ice because ice is really slippery and there is more things you can do with snow. This morning, it took about 10 minutes to get the car started and the windows de-frosted. Even though there are some bad things about the cold weather, I still really really like it! I just wish I could get one of those foam sledding boards! Those rock!

Blog Term2 Day23

YYYYYEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is finally snowing! I am so happy. Okay, it's not snowing right now, but there is snow on the ground, and that is good enough for me. Actually, I think it is better to play in the snow when it is not snowing, because then, you get a clear view of everyone and you can hit them with snow chunks. I would say "snow balls" but my "snow balls" look more like chunks. Hahahaha. I absolutely love love love snow! But compared to most places Vancouver doesn't snow too much. I just wish that it would snow more. But not too much, or then I can't go shopping..... And I really really really want to go shopping. I did lots of my homework last night, so I am allowed to go for a short time, but other than that, it's all homework. I know, I should be doing my homework, but that is all I ever do! The only time I can relax is when it's the weekends, so I am glad it's the weekend!

I don't know if I told you, but yesterday, I got a new pair of FUZZY slippers from Garage. They come past my ankles about an inch, so it makes me feet very very warm! I love fuzzy slippers. I had one before that only went up to my ankles, and it was still very warm, but they were too small for me, and I hate it when my feet get cold. So I got new ones! Yay! I just love to get ready for winter. I just love the scarves, gloves, toques, everything! In other words, I love winter, snow, and Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, that is so cool, the title consists of 3 two's! Okay, that should have been out in my random statement line, but that is just too bad, I guess I will have to write something else for that line. Hahahaha! Today has been quite a day! You know how I always complain about Chinese school. And I always say I hate it and stuff? Well, the truth is, I don't hate it, in fact, I like it. I mean, most of the time, it is terrible. I'm denying it, but at the end of the day, I am super duper happy my mom never took my complaints seriously and allowed me to drop out. Because if I did, I wouldn't know Chinese at all, and that is terrible! Now, I hope that once I graduate, I will still studying and constantly use Chinese in my regular life. Another one of my goals is to learn French, Cantonese and Mandarin until I am fully fluent. And I hope that I will accomplish that goal! I think that once I graduate Chinese school this year, I will take extra curricular French and continue to speak, write, read and listen to Chinese, both Cantonese and Mandarin! I like setting goals because it gives me an idea to what I want to do in life.

But to tell you the truth, winter break is not really as fun as it sounds (for me). I already have a lot of assignments I have to work on during the break. Plus, I also have to study for my Chinese exams. In fact, I have 2! One for Mandarin and the other for Cantonese. And I am determined to get a really good mark. Blog Term2 Day20

After yesterday, an awesome day, today seemed very very boring. There was nothing new about today. Just like every day 1. But at least I had lots of fun in drama! We did some mirror exercises and it may seem easy, but it actually requires a lot of concentration! (And your arms get tired by the end of it.) But other than that, it was really really fun! Also, I think the drama teacher is so knowledgeable about, well, drama! He also tells us a lot about all the actors he has met, and it seems like he is practically famous. Or at least well recognized. Some day, I want to be like him. But instead of drama, I would like to be well known for discovering many cool things about Ancient Egypt! That is my goal.

My brother is away at swimming again, so I think that I will have lots of time to play piano. But my main goal is to do lots of Chinese. I really don't like to wait until the last moment to do all my Chinese homework. But don't get me wrong, I have been practicing my Chinese since Saturday night, practically right after Chinese school.

My random thought/statement of the day: Tomorrow might snow! I really really really really hope that it does!

Blog Term2 Day19

Wow, where do I start? Today was an amazing day and the play was awesome! Okay, well after 2 classes, we met up at the front of the school. Then we took a bus down to Granville Island. After the teacher showed us where the theater was, we were free to wander around. First, a couple of us went to eat, because it was around 12 by then. I bought a pizza for $4. I know it is really expensive, but everything at Granville Island is expensive so there was no surprise there! The pizza I got was really really good though. It had cheese, sliced tomatoes and basil. That is probably the second best pizza place I have ever been to. The first is actually a small little shop far away and I don't know the name. Hehehehe. But I remember the pizza crust was just the best in the whole entire universe and the toppings were really fresh. The pizza was also very cheap. It was only about $2. Okay, enough about the pizza. After that, we wandered around a bit and I got some donut holes for my family. We also went to Kids Market. They have an awesome arcade there and somehow, I resisted the temptation to play. But the truth is, last time I went there, I spent $5 and I only got 2 bouncy balls, and I could have gotten 6 at the dollar shop. So that was the story about me and the arcade. I also wanted to get some candy for my brother, but candy isn't really good for you, plus I had already gotten the donuts. After that, we just walked around a bit. And then we saw the play.

The play was so good! It was actually very long, and judging by how smoothly everything went, they must have had lots of rehearsals! There were so many lines, it is truly amazing how they could remember them so well. The play was called It's a Wonderful Life and my favourite character is Clarence, the angel. Clarence is an old angel whom has to earn his wings, and in the end, he did! I was so happy! I also really really like plays, so I was very happy. There were also a lot of funny parts, and I was laughing so much. There was one part especially that I remember and it was a line for Clarence.

The bus ride back was really fun too. (Yes, I'm gonna talk about he bus ride!) We were all very excited from the play, and everyone took out their cameras and started to take pictures. It was really funny when this guy took a picture of his friend's face but the flash was on, so it was really bright, plus the fact that it was really dark, seemed to amplify the camera's intense light. So he was like,"Can I take your picture?" And his friend said,"Sure. Wait, is the flash on?" And he said,"No, I don't think so." So he took the picture, however the flash was on, so it was really bright. I know I shouldn't be laughing about this, because it could have been dangerous, but it was funny at the time.

My random thought/statement of the day: Wow, I had fun typing that, it was like reliving my day!

Blog Term2 Day18

Yay! Blog 101! My brother is gonna go to swimming lessons in about half an hour. So until then, it is seriously busy! In that time (about an hour), I usually play piano. It's a good time because my brother isn't fighting over it. Yay me! My best friend also had a basketball game so I went to watch for about half an hour. But after that, I seriously had to go because first of all, it's raining and I have to walk and secondly, the street lights were already on, and it was getting really dark. I hate walking home in the rain, because I don't know about you, but when I do, my hair gets soggy and my hands get really cold. Plus, my somewhat thin sweatpants absorb water like there is no yesterday, seriously. Am I saying the word "seriously" a lot? Because it seems like I am constantly typing it in! Hahahaha!

I am soooooooooooooo excited about Granville Island tomorrow! And don't worry, I'll write all about it. We are going to see a play called,"It's a Wonderful Life". But before that, we get to walk around for about an hour (even though most of that time will be devoted to eating, but still). I love Granville Island. I especially like this certain shop's donuts. I tried some last year, and have loved them ever since! I will probably get one for my mom, dad, brother and grandpa. I'll see how much money I have.

My random thought/statement of the day: I don't know why, but I LOVE to pack my bags for field trips, camping trips etc.

Blog Term2 Day17

This is my 100th blog! I just checked the number and it said 99, which means that this one is number 100! That is so cool! It is really interesting to see how many blogs I have done. Okay, now about my day. I think that I have worked really hard, but unfortunately, I am super-duper tired! I didn't sleep too late last night. But I kinda feel asleep when I was studying. I was just sitting on my bed, studying for my English test, when I just feel asleep. It was around 11pm. And at least I washed up and had already gotten ready for school. I think my dad came later and turned off the lights and put the papers on my desk. Then, when I got home, I wanted to help out by heating up some soup, but I burned it. And there are little bits of black stuff floating around in it. I got the big pieces out, but there are many small bits that I wasn't able to get out. I think my dad isn't very happy about it. And the worst part is, it took my dad all of yesterday afternoon to make it, and now, the soup is non-drinkable. I feel really guilty. So, now, I am in my room, just finishing this blog up. This is not gonna be a happy 100th blog...

My random thought/statement of the day: I have a slight headache. :'(

Blog Term2 Day16

Almost lunch! I just came back from Church, and after about 15 minutes of setting the table, getting the food ready for cooking, I can finally sit down! I did lots of homework last night, but not everything. You know what I find funny? Weekends. The weekend is supposedly when you can relax, go shopping, hang out with friends that don't go to the same school as you, etc. But all the teachers are always giving you extra homework. I mean, don't get me wrong, I know that teachers have a certain amount of homework they have to give out and they are under a lot of pressure too. But seriously! I have about 6 hours of homework to do. And last night, I did about 2. It's also kinda hard because my Saturday is mostly occupied by Chinese school and piano lessons. And after that, I gotta do my Chinese homework. So it's tough. I think the best thing about elementary school is the fact that you only have 1 teacher. But I also like high school because of all the freedom and it's kinda fun to have different teachers.

I have a field trip on Wednesday, and I totally can't wait! We are going to see a play, and I am quite excited. The only thing I am not excited about is the fact that when we go on a field trip, we usually do a project afterwards or something, so that is kinda sad. But other than that, it's awesome.

My random thought/statement of the day: I think lunch will be ready in about 5 minutes.

Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but the fire, is sooooo delightful, and since there's no place to go... Let it snow, let is snow, let is snow. Yay, I just love Christmas don't you? Christmas is my favourite time of the year. Not just because of the presents, but snow, the food, the carols, the Santas at different malls! Warm hot chocolate, happy people, family, parties, hanging out, winter vacation, friends, Christmas trees, Christmas decorations, Christmas everything! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also like the sales at the mall. Hehehehe. But seriously, there are awesome deals everywhere! I saw these awesome hoodies that were soooooo cheap compared to usual! It's amazing! I love Christmas because everyone is in a Christmas-y mood!

My random thought/statement of the day: I don't like fruit loops.

Blog Term2 Day15

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! It's Friday again. My GOAL for tonight is to finish all my homework and know my dictation by 10:00pm. Then, I will sleep at 10:30! Yay! But then again, I have to work really hard for the next 5 hours. Piano will take up one and a half and dinner would take up about half an hour. Leaving me with only 3 hours for Chinese.... hmmmmmm. If I practice piano now, I can do Chinese for the rest of the evening. I'm gonna go with that plan. Usually, on Fridays, the only school homework I do is this, blog. Wait... I mean "fun"work. hehehehehe. I just realized that I like crumpets. Today, when I got back, I had a crumpet, and it was delish! Anyways, enough about crumpets, we had recycling today. And guess what? This time, it only took an hour! Usually, it takes an hour and a half. I'm happy because I got to come back home early! It was awesome!

My random thought/statement of the day: It's kinda amazing how 20 people can do the recycling for the juice boxes/cans/bottles for the whole school!

Blog Term2 Day14

I might go to Richmond Centre tonight. But only if I finish all my school work. I finished almost all of my day 1 work yesterday, and now, I only have a bit of math to do. I think that I will probably do my math after this. Then, I will play piano and probably, by then, it will be dinner time. After dinner, I will most likely go shopping! Yay! And when I come back, it's Chinese homework time! Hopefully, I can sleep by latest 10:30pm! Then, tomorrow, it's square dancing! And to tell you the truth, I actually really really like it. The only time I don't like it is if I really don't get it and mess up the whole group. It's also kinda funny when I'm paired up with a tall grade 10 person. Since tomorrow is another Friday, it means shorter classes! But I still have to do recycling after... I like recycling, but sometimes, I think that during that time, I could be studying Chinese or something. And especially since it is a Friday.

My random thought/statement of the day: I think my favourite place in the whole entire school is the quiet study area in the library. I really like to study and work there before and during lunch time at school. The only problem is, there is always a group of people talking, and that makes me very paranoid, but I have learned to get over it.

Blog Term2 Day13

I wanna eat sushi so bad! Today, the old dog pound was selling sushi, and I wanted to get some, but the sushis are kinda small compared to Samari Sushi House and they are too expensive. I know it's for charity, but I don't have $3.50 handy. Plus, because they are so small, I might have to get something small from the caf.

Today, I am determined to finish all of my homework, from day 1 and 2, so that tomorrow, I might possibly get to go night shopping. And if I can't go night shopping, I can sleep early on that day (night). But I like to think that there will be night shopping because it gives me lots of motivation. Usually shopping gives me motivation anyways. But I have a lot to complete, so no wasting time. I find that my concentration level is not that high, so I really gotta work on it. One second, I might be working on math, and the next, I will be thinking about mandarin oranges. Okay, that was totally random, but it ever so happens that I am sitting in front of a fruit bowl, and there are plenty of mandarin oranges in it. hehehehehe. yummy.

My random thought/statement of the day: Tuffy (my teddy bear) says,"Hi!" to you.

Blog Term2 Day12

Guess what? We had the 30th person finally come to Middle Years! It was so different with one more person. I know it seems like a really small difference, but it is really huge! Okay, that made very little sense...

My day has been very good. It was another day 2, and I got a science quiz! That isn't the only thing, I totally flunked it! Okay, I didn't fail, but I know I got 4 questions wrong, and I think that is a C+. the worst part is, I happen to love science! It was my favourite subject, and I thought I knew everything, but I guess I didn't. I actually studied for probably I total of 5 hours (spread out over a little more than a week) in counting, so I was disappointed in myself. I am usually not disappointed if I knew that I could have spent more time on it, but I worked so hard, which makes me sad just thinking about it. Anyways, more about the happy things. I had half of a yummy French onion soup and it was soooooooooooooo good! I shared it with my brother and mom, so that makes it a third. (hehehehe). Tonight, my mom might take my brother and me to a mall, but only if I complete all my homework. Apparently, you can go to the mall late at night from December first to Christmas.

My random thought/statement of the day: I want a hippopotamus for Christmas!

Blog Term2 Day11

Today, I had a math test. Yep, another math test. I think I did alright... well I hope so anyways. The actual questions are pretty easy, as long as you get the concept. The only part that I found hard was that the questions were long, and there were a lot of them. There were so many, I didn't get to double check, and I am sure that I made some silly mistakes, I always do. Or, I forget to round down. Either way, I loose. Today was also kinda cool because for fine arts, instead of doing music, we switched to drama! I like music and drama, but it is good to switch sometimes, then I can experience everything! Today, we didn't do acting activities though, the teacher mostly went over the rules, what he would be expecting, what we would be doing, and some background info on drama, acting and film. I think that I am really gonna like this course!

My random thought/statement of the day: I love to act, but judging by what the drama teacher has to say, I have a lot to learn! :)

Blog Term2 Day10

Last night was movie night, and we watched Indiana Jones, Kingdom of the Chrystal Skull. My brother and I had already watched it in the movie theater with our aunt, uncle and 2 cousins, but this time, we watched it with our mom. It was so good, even if the first 3 were better... But I still really liked it. I especially love movies when they get the same characters to act again. I really hate it when the sequel has other people that weren't in the first movie. It's just one of my biases. hehehehehe. Then, today, we went to a supermarket in hopes of getting onigiris, but they didn't come out until 11:30am and unfortunately, it was only 11... But it's okay, because I am sure to get them some other time. The ones that they had were of more variety than the ones sold at the school. They had unagi and crab meat, along with all the other ones that the school has. If they had it out, I would have probably gotten 3 unagis and 2 crab meats. But of course I wouldn't eat them all at once. I would share with my brother and eat them over the week. One of those onigiris can really fill you up. 2 could be a meal, literally. Since they weren't out, I just got an inari. inaris are these really yummy rice balls wrapped in sweet tofu. It is just sooooo good! But the package only comes with 3... I seriously should have gotten more... Oh well, I can always get more next week. And if I eat too many, it won't be special any more!

My random thought/statement of the day: I love the Old Spaghetti Factory's Zucchini Sticks dipped in Ranch sauce!

Wow, what a day! I think that my Chinese dictation went terribly! I missed out on half of the paragraph! I guess I will get 20 or so out of 100..... that is just so sad, because I stayed up till 2am this morning working on my dictation. But then again, it is my fault for not having better time management. Anyways, more about the happy things, today, for lunch I had Vietnamese food. And I totally loved it. I got a vermicelli dish with grilled chicken and spring rolls. It was sooooooooo good. And guess what? I just finished dinner and I had rice with spinach, ribs and broccoli. I just realized I have talked so much about food! hahahaha! Well, I also went to Oakridge (like usual) and it was awesome! I went to Lululemon and got another headband (YAY!) and a pair of pants. You know how people say a "pair" of pants... I don't really get it. Shouldn't it be "a pant". There are 2 paint legs, but only 1 pant... anyways, yeah, that is pretty much what I did today. It is also movie night, but I have to finish at least 75% of my homework...

My random thought/statement of the day: I really like playing Cooking Mama on the DS.

Another Friday, how sad... I wish that Chinese school wouldn't come so soon... I still have many things to do for Chinese school, and I really really wish I had more time. The problem is, because it's the end of term 1, all the teachers are giving the last tests. And I did 9 tests and quizzes this week. I think it is seriously a record! But now, it all comes down to the fact that I have a major dictation along with a lot of Chinese homework to do. I also did recycling after school, and that took about 1 hour and a half. Then, after that, I got a ride and came back home... and here I am.

My random thought/statement of the day: I had an onigiri today! Yay me!

Blog Term2 Day7

Wow, the grade 8 track meet was incredible! I think it was really a fun time and I will probably always remember it, even when I am in grade 12. Well, all the grade 12 people I have asked said that it was really fun and that they remember it, so I am pretty sure I will! I was on the blue team, and we got in third. Yay blue! I also wrote GO BLUE! on my arm. It was so much fun! I know I have already said that 18 times, but it was really really really awesome! I have lost half of my voice though, so I am trying not to talk too much. We had these cheering contests, and we were always cheering when somebody did a relay race, so after about the third race, my throat was already feeling a little weird. It was worth it in the end though, and I will always remember this day. I signed up for 3 games. The blowing ball game, the balance a ball on the ping pong racket game, and tug of war. Overall, it was a time I will never forget. I even made a couple of new friends, along with talking to a lot of people I haven't for a long time. I think the best part about the track meet is walking up to your lines and getting ready to win. It is especially fun since you know a lot of people and you chat and talk about how fun it is. I also really love hearing people saying, "Good luck!" and "Go blue, go!" I have also learned that cheering a team really helps. We were losing in tug of war and then, we started to cheer, and then we did a very good job! The people actually won, even though the odds looked really low. I think it gives motivation. Cheering helps me, anyways.

Tomorrow is the day! I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Blue is sooooooooo gonna beat all the other colours! Wait and see! But if we win, I promise not to be a sore winner and if we lose, I promise not to be a sore loser. I have learned to overcome that REACTIVE obstacle, and it really does help. Anyways, it is all about fun and hanging out with friends isn't it? I just can't wait, it will be so much fun. I have blue shorts, a blue tee, and a blue headband to wear in support of my team. It is gonna be lots of fun! I have 3 events I am in. I know I wrote this last blog, but I am just so excited to write much about anything else.

The term ends on Friday, however we are only getting our report cards next next week. I wish they would come sooner, even though I already know my term 1 mark for science, math, French... and I think that is it.... But tomorrow, I will know my Fine Arts mark... I hope I get an A!!!!!!!!!!!! I also can't wait until the weekend, SHOPPING! I really really want to go shopping! I think my favourite clothes place is Garage! Yep, yep, yep! Hahahahaha!

Today, I had 4 tests! I know! That was so many, but at least I got them over with. There were 2 from French, 1 from fine arts and the last one was for P.E. I also can't wait till Thursday, because it's the grade 8 track meet. I seriously can't wait till Block A and B start! I have signed up for 3 events, and I sooooooo hope that we win! Then, I can brag a lot! hahahaha! I also really want to do that because then, I can do fun relays with my friends! Don't forget to root for team blue! My teacher said that we could paint our faces blue, but I don't think I'll do that. I will, however where blue shorts, a blue tee and a blue headband. I can already imagine all those awesome events. I think there are 6 teams in total. Blue (YAY), Black, White, Red, Green and Yellow. I think.... I'm not so sure about the red, green or yellow..... I better get going, I have a couple of major tests to study for.

Blog Term2 Day4

Today, there was a play after school, and unlike all the ones I have seen before, this one was really serious and it had a very important lesson. Well, all the plays I have seen usually have a moral, but this one was more serious. It was about drugs and I totally got the lesson. The actors and actress were all very good. It only took 3 people to act and 1 person to do the special effects. I am truly amazed by the actors and the way they can act! It is so interesting! I especially love live plays, it is just so much fun!

That was probably the only thing that was interesting today, everything was just normal boring stuff. I wish that by the end of today, not only do I finish all my homework, play piano for at least 30 minutes, but I would love to memorize my Chinese dictation paragraph. Poor me!

My random thought/statement of the day: I'm still lovin' Klause Berry Farm's yummy bumbleberry shortcakes, even though I ate the last one in the morning. (Actually, I shared it with my brother, those shortcakes are really big, they are probably the size of 1 and a half baseballs.)

Blog Term2 Day3

You will NEVER guess where I went today! Unless you have been there, you would never know! Hint: It's not a mall. Okay, I'll just tell you! Today, my mum, dad, brother and I all went to Krause Berry Farm! We went there in the summer, with my cousins, grandpa, aunts and uncles but that was ages ago. Well, it felt like ages ago. It was in Langley and it took approximately 45 minutes to get there. It was totally worth it though! When we went in the summer, we got to pick blueberries (although they have all sorts of berries there, along with corn, pumpkins and squashes). Now that it is almost Christmas, there was nothing to pick, but they still had homemade frozen pies, jams, syrups, honey, and a whole lot of other stuff. When we went there, first, my parents got some jams (they taste really good, with lots of fruit). Then we got a couple other things. After that, we went to their cafe. There, we ordered 2 bumbleberry shortcakes, each at $2.00 and for me, an apple cider, my parents got a coffee and my brother got a yummy hot chocolate. Their weren't that many people, but during the summer time, we had to line up to get a ride to go to the blueberry bushes. It was really fun though! (By the way, those bumbleberry shortcakes are to die for! I loved them soooooooo much, in the end, we got 2 to go, but I ate half of one when we got back. hehehehe). Then we came back, and here I am typing this. Oh yeah, one more thing: In the summer time, they had these totally awesome berry milkshakes. They don't have them now (since it's almost winter) but they had awesome cider.

In other words: I LOVE KRAUSE BERRY FARM!

My random thought/statement of the day: If you get a chance, you should totally go there, they have a website that you should go visit. Here it is: http://www.krausebrothersfarms.com/

Blog Term2 Day2

Today, was the usual Saturday schedule... so nothing new to write. But after piano lessons, I went to Oakridge where I got a new tee! It's purple and I really really like it. But the only reason I could get it was because it was on sale. (Well, actually all of the tees and tanks/camis at Garage are 50% off, so that is pretty good. I saw it a couple days ago, and I really liked it, so I am super duper glad I got it!

Tonight, I have to finish at least 75% of my school homework, or else I can't go anywhere tomorrow. And, even though I have already went shopping yesterday and 10 minutes today, I would still like some relaxation time. The only bad thing about life so far, is that the term is ending, and I have at 8 quizzes and tests. (I am NOT exaggerating!) But I guess all the teachers want to finish up the unit, and I really really should get going. I want to do well in school, but I think I am putting too much pressure on myself, and I am not getting enough time to "chill". But don't worry, I have been doing pretty good. I just wish we weren't given homework over the weekend, because that is seriously the only time I can loosen up a little.

Blog Term2 Day1

I hope this is the right title..... I think it is, even though the term hasn't fully ended, but we already emailed the tally for Term 1... Well, it should be okay, it's not a big deal if it is wrong. I could always just change it... I think.

Today, I had such an awesome day! It wasn't the best in the world, but it certainly counted for something! Do you want to hear/read about it? If you say yes, then good for you. If you say no, that is too bad, cuz I'm gonna write about it anyways! Firstly, I woke up at 9:30am, giving me a total of 9 and a half hours of sleep! YES! Then, my mum and I went shopping at Oakridge. There, we bought some mandarin oranges and I get 2 tees from Garage! I was so happy! One was red and the other, blue. Then, we picked up my brother (who just got out of school) and we had lunch. We ate at this really yummy Korean place. The food there, was really good, and I was really full and content at the end. Then, we went to Richmond Centre and we went to Garage again (the Garage at Richmond Centre is bigger than the one in Oakridge, which means it has more styles and variety). There, I got 2 more tees. One was a long sleeved shirt (grey) and the other was a t-shirt (green). After that, we went to the food court, where my mom got a carrot/apple/celery juice, and my brother got an ice cream. I didn't get anything, because I felt that I had already gotten a lot of stuff today, and I didn't deserve anything else. hahahaha.

My random thought/statement of the day: If you were bored by the first half of the second paragraph, sorry! hahahaha.

Yay, Thursday finally! Now, I can go shopping tomorrow! There are so many things I want to get from Garage! They are having a sale on select wear, and I am more than certain I can pick something up! I mean, 50% off! Now, that is what I call an awesome deal! I think I could probably get 3 tees for under $20! I can't wait, but the thing I am most excited about is sleeping early, I am determined to sleep at latest 10:30pm tonight! Then, I can wake up at 9 am and then have breakfast followed by shopping! Yay! There is also a pair of really cute boots from Payless that I really really really want to get! I want to get a couple more hoodies too (if I can). A girl can never have too much clothes! Just typing this makes me excited!

I had a science test today, and I think I did quite well! There were 2 questions I didn't know, but I am pretty sure that it would be okay... Well, I hope so anyways! I really really like Science. Today, was like a Friday day, it was so much fun! I was so glad to leave school 1 hour early! This week is actually kinda weird. Not only do we have a pro-d day, but we also have a shorter day! Yay! The only bad thing is, I can't get Onigiris on Friday... I love the school's Onigiris! They are so yummy! They are fairly big, so I think the maximum anyone could eat would be 2. I also really like the school's Onigiri poster, whoever drew it made it seem really cute! There are a lot of posters around the school, and I found out it is a really good way of advertising! They also had this poster about Gift Cards, and I think I might get 1 or 2. They truly are good gifts, and I am sure my mom and dad would like a Starbucks gift card. I mean, who wouldn't? Even if you didn't like coffee, they have frappachinos (drinks without caffeine, also the stuff I love to drink). I think I might also treat myself to a Garage gift card. Then, my Christmas shopping for my friends would be over! Wouldn't that be awesome? I think so!

My random thought/statement of the day: I love Science! It is my favourite subject ever, in elementary school, it wasn't as fun, but in high school, it's a blast! I want to become a semi-science geek...

Boy, do I have a lot of homework to do! It is slowly consuming me! Soon, I will explode. Seriously, these days, I haven't had much sleep. Last night, I stayed up till 1am working on my map, and the time before that, my Chinese homework. This is really unfortunate! I haven't had a break to just relax for ages! Even when I am sleeping, I am working on processing all the important information I did/learned during the day. (I learned that in Applied Skills!) But, I just wish that I could have some time to just relax! I get migraines really easily, thanks to stress... I would love to relax, but I just DON'T have any time. I barely have time to spend with friends, besides lunch time! I think I am working over-time, because my lack of sleep is slowly catching up to me... during school today, I was sleepy by 3rd block. And every morning, I wake up at around 7:15am! That is not enough hours for sleeping.

I am sooooooo hungry! I haven't had a morsel of food since 11:30, and it's 6:30! My tummy feels really weird. Dinner is gonna be ready in half an hour... I think, so there is no point in me eating anything. I have so much homework to do! And for P.E, I have a written test. That is so funny! Then again, I have had a written test from P.E before, so I don't think it is much of a surprise, but still. This week, I will be extrememely busy. I have 2 tests and a couple of quizes in the horizon, so I have no time to sit back and relax. There is also Chinese dictation, and trust me, this week is crazy! The paragraph we are supposed to do a dictation on is super duper long. At least we don't have to memorize it! That would have been torture! I also have a slight headache... I don't know how. I drank a lot of homework, and I didn't bang it or anything. Actually, I get headaches really easily. It is one of my problems. I don't think there is anything wrong with my brain, it just hurts easily. Sometimes, if it gets really bad, I have to take an Advil, but I try not to, because medication shouldn't be taken until necessary. Man, I'm hungry!

Yay, tonight is movie night! But I have a headache, so that takes the fun out of possibly my favourite time of the week! Oh well. I also have lots of homework to complete if I want to watch a movie... I better get going, but I still have a bit to write about. Today, after Chinese school and piano lessons, I went to Metropolis at Metrotown and it was awesome! I didn't get anything, but my mom and brother did. It was really fun. I usually get a soft pretzel, but this time, I didn't because I was so full from lunch. Now, I really want to eat soft pretzels! Oh great.

My random thought/statement of the day: I just saw a skunk crawling around near the front yard.

Blog Term1 Day71

You know what the funny thing about Chinese school is? It is really painful and hard, but in the end, it's helpful. I am facing a huge dilemma. This year is my last Chinese school year, which means I am graduating. I'm happy because I can get it over with, but I really really really don't want to loose this skill over these years. Since last year, I haven't really been putting my full effort into Chinese school. I used to be really really good, but now, I'm practically the worst in my class. My reading and writing skills are really bad, and my talking isn't that awesome either. I find that it is really hard for me to learn a language when I only use it so little during the day. I mean, my parents and grandpa speak Chinese to me, and I listen at home. But it is the writing and reading that is terrible. If someone stuck a Chinese book under my book, and ordered me to read, I could only make out a couple of words. It's not that I tune out during Chinese school. I don't. It's just the fact that I use it, and then I forget. If I didn't forget all the words, and kept them all in my head, I could read almost as good as my mom. But I forgot it all, and it's all coming back at me... at my last year in Chinese school. Now, I will probably just make it to graduation, with all the stuff that I have learned over these past 13 years, gone. I regret it, I truly do, but it seems too late to do anything... is it? I only have about half a year to learn this language. Can I do it? I think I can (wait, isn't that reactive?) Okay, you know what? I will! try. It just seems so intimidating. And as I sit here, I realize that if I don't keep up my Chinese, I highly doubt I every will. It will just slip away over the years until the only thing I know will be my Chinese name... One of these days, I will move to China or Hong Kong for a year or two, until my Chinese is perfect, and then, I will come back and complete the rest of my life in Canada. Yeah, that sounds like a good plan. I will make that one of my goals. I will do this thing!

My random thought/statement of the day: I WILL DO THIS THING!

Blog Term1 Day70

As I write this, I am eating a yummy bun my mommy made for me. (Yes, I still call my mom mommy.) It tastes so good! I could eat 40! Okay, maybe only 2, they are really big. In a couple of minutes, my brother is going to swimming lessons. I would like to finish the swimming course (there are 10 levels, and I have finished 8 of them). But now, I seriously don't have enough time to do my homework, so I definitely can't take swimming lessons after school.

I seriously don't have much to say. Nothing new, so bye.

My random thought/statement of the day: I want to watch Madagascar 2! But it is only available in theaters...

Blog Term1 Day69

I don't feel very excited today. I was earlier, but now, I feel down in the dumps. I am glad to write in my blog. It is a nice way to debrief. Tonight, my mom is making her signature wontons, and I can't wait! I think the main reason I am not too happy is I have a French skit that I have to perform tomorrow, and last time's skit didn't go too well, especially when we have to memorize it. I don't do good memorizing foreign languages. I just don't. I also have a Cantonese story to memorize in front of my class for Chinese school. At least it isn't Mandarin, like last week. As I write this, my mom is starting to wrap the wontons. I would love to help her, but after blog, I have to shower, and after that, homework from school. Once I'm done that, it will probably be dinner. Then, after dinner, I have to play piano. Followed closely by Chinese homework and dictation. Then, if I'm lucky, I can sleep at 11pm. That is the earliest I have slept in 2 weeks or so. I still have loads of Chinese homework to complete, so I better hurry along!

My random thought/statement of the day: I can't wait to eat the wontons!

Blog Term1 Day68

Le date: 11 novembre. Je parle francais! Just kidding, that is as much as I know, I will now write the rest in anglais. Hahaha, I have to practice for a French skit, so I am talking as much French as possible. Well, kinda. Today, since we don't have to go to school, Rememberance Day, I have to do extra Chinese homework. Poor me, but I think it's better because then, I can relax a litte bit more! Today, is also a day to remember those who died in order to give us, Canadians freedom!

I am really sleepy, even though I slept until 9 this morning. But I know why. That's becasue right after waking up, I started to read, making my eyes tired. I know I shouldn't do that, but the books was just too good I couldn't put it down. So now, after about half an hour, I have pried myself away from it to do my blog and Chinese homework. The book I am reading is called Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones. I only got to take 2 books out from the library, and I have already read 1 and a half of them. This is really sad. I NEED BOOKS! Well, I could always just get a couple from the school library, but still.

My random thought/statement of the day: Last night's hot pot was really really good, and I had so much!

Blog Term1 Day67

Today, at school, there was a Remembrance Day assembly. I had mine in first period, and I thought it was very good, even though it was for a very solemn reason. I especially thought that the slide show and the people talking were very good. I have to say the choir was really really really good. The way they sung was so good, the songs were picked out really nicely and since I was in my elementary school choir, I know what the audience is looking for, and the choir did it practically perfectly. It sounded so good!

Tonight, I am gonna have hot pot, something that I haven't had for 2 years, and the last time was Christmas. I love hot pot, and every time I have it, it reminds me of all the fun Christmases that I have had before. I love Christmas, it is soooo much fun! Not just the presents, but the carols, the snow, the neon signs, everything! Especially having family here! But for now, I don't have much else to say. Wait until Christmas, and I will be extra happy, and extra awake. I just LOVE Christmas!

My random thought/statement of the day: Now, I am in a very very good mood, thanks to Christmas!

Blog Term1 Day66

I didn't really follow the schedule I made yesterday, so now, I am stuck with a lot of homework to do. Okay, no a lot, but some. I haven't done any of my Chinese homework yet either, so that is something I really have to do. After that, I will do some English, and something else, the schedule will come along as time pasts. I guess.

Today feels like a gloomy day, so I feel gloomy. It is not even sunny, just cold and cloudy. Usually, in times like these, I also want to nap. After this blog, I am gonna finish off my Chinese homework and then ask for a 30 minute nap. I LOVE naps! They are so energizing! But then again, I like lots of stuff, like sushi, mandarin oranges, shopping, reading, the list goes on and on.

Last night, I watched Kung Fu Panda with my mom and brother, it was sooooooooooooo funny, I was laughing my butt off (not literally). When I first heard about it, I thought it would be one of those really cheezy stories, but it was funny without being all cheezy. If you have not watched it yet, you HAVE to! There were some really really funny parts where I couldn't help laughing and others where it was really serious.

My random thought/statement of the day: I like bears, teddy bears, panda bears, every bear!

Blog Term1 Day65

Like all Saturdays, I had Chinese school, followed by lunch, and then piano lessons. After that, I went to Oakridge. There, I went to the library, HMV and Garage. I wanted to get an Orange Julius, but it was kinda cold outside, so I didn't. I am planning to do all of my Chinese school homework and all of my day 1 homework, and if I have time, half of my day 2 work. Then, tomorrow, all I have to do is a little school homework, piano and study for dictation! That will probably leave me with some time to shop and relax. Yay! I will write more tomorrow, but for now, I have to do some homework!

My random thought/statement of the day: I don't like public speaking if it isn't in English.

Blog Term1 Day64

Today, I had so much Chinese to complete, and frankly, I don't think I have enough time, I'm not gonna write too much, I think that I should just start studying Chinese. Today, the old dog pound was selling Onigiris again, and I wanted to get one, but I was a little too late. Today, I also decorated my best friend's locker, with the help of another friend. It was funny, because I wanted to do it before school, but she was already there, so I couldn't. Later, we were hoping to decorate it at lunch, but she ate at her locker today, so in the end, we decorated it in front of her. We were hoping to do it as a surprise, but in the end, it wasn't really a surprise. It was actually kinda funny.

My random thought/statement of the day: I LOVE Onigiris! So yummy!

Blog Term1 Day63

I had 3 quizzes today, and I actually think I did good in all of them. The math one was pretty easy, along with the French one, and I kinda enjoyed my fine arts test. The only bad part was I got the butterflies when the teacher called my name, but I am sure that I will get over it. We had to play a piece of music we wrote, and since the whole class was listening, there was a lot of pressure and I made a couple of mistakes. But the overall song was played really well, since whenever I made a mistake, I covered it up. I hope that I get a good result on all 3 tests!

Today was the block rotations, so it was a little confusing, since it took me some time to get used to the old one, and now it's a totally new schedule! But in the end, I figured it out. I hope I don't mess up tomorrow! One of the bad parts about having P.E first block, is that you get all sweaty and worn out. By third block, I seriously didn't think I could hang on for another minute. But of course in the end, I did. I still think my old rotations were the best.

I can't wait till Saturday (after Chinese school). Then, I can relax for 3 hours (tops). I want to do some shopping for clothes. But then again, I think everything has gone up. Everywhere I go, people are talking about how the economy is going down and how the price of everything is going up. I think I should stop wanting to go shopping since even the GROCERIES are getting more expensive. Just last week or so, my Chinese school teacher was talking about how the price of rice has gone up. But all I want is this blue pullover from Garage (it's on sale for only $20). But then again, I'm not the one paying. So maybe I should just stop "wanting" things. I should help more around the house too, like do more chores. That might help!

My random thought/statement of the day: If I speed walk, I can make it back home in 10 minutes! Maybe I should do that more, then, I have more time for homework and that kind of thing.

Blog Term1 Day62

I feel kinda mad right now. I did the online premier go quiz today and I get a 80!!!!!!!!! I not mad at the mark, okay, yes I am, but mostly mad at question 7. The question is: Not everyone has the willpower to "Press Pause."True or False. And I wrote true, but apparently it is wrong! Maybe I am the one who is wrong, but sometimes, people just DO NOT have the willpower! I mean babies DO NOT, sometimes I DO NOT. Now, what quiz just put me in a bad mood. I used to be all happy, but now, I am feeling tired and mad. Even when today was Collaborative planning day, I did not get any extra sleep because I had to wake up early if I wanted to catch a ride. (My backpack is very heavy.) I didn't get too much homework today, so I feel very happy, but I have 3 quizzes tomorrow. One for math, one for French and one for Fine Arts. Tonight, I am not planning on doing too much school work. More Chinese school stuff. But right now, I feel like nodding off to sleep. Literally. My teddy bear is right beside me again so yeah.

I am upset with myself because I got a bad mark on my test for applied skills today. I got 83%. Yeah, the Asian fail. Then, I also got back my Science test, and I got 88%. My average used to be 95% or so, and now because of my test, it's 88%! I feel so tired and slow. Almost as if I have no energy. I also feel very full. I am not the least bit hungry. Maybe I could skip dinner and sleep instead, then I could save time. I feel very full anyways. When I got back home, I had 2 small yogurt cups and a piece of toast. I have so much Chinese to complete!

My random thought/statement of the day: I wish I could read and speak Chinese really fluently.

Blog Term1 Day61

Man, I am sooooo tired, I bet I can't make it until 8 without a nap! I still have to do lots of homework, so I better hurry. Usually, this is the first piece of homework that I do. Then, I do the rest of the stuff. I didn't get to do as much Chinese homework as I would have liked, so I really need to do more. That is, once I finished all my school homework and practicing piano. I really wish we could just have a day to relax and not have to worry about homework. Sometimes, I feel kinda stressed out about not having ANY free time. I might get 2-3 hours over the weekend, but that is it. Either I am in class (school, Chinese school or piano lessons), or I am doing my homework or studying. Anyway, enough about complaining. I do enough of that already.

My day was really good. After school, 3 of my closest friends in the whole entire universe went to visit our grade 7 teacher. He is soooooooo awesome! He is in this band and he is really good at playing the guitar and singing. He was the one that truly introduced me to guitars and stuff, even if I don't take lessons... He is also really funny and can take jokes well. When I was in grade 7, I had soooo much fun, it feels good to talk to my old teachers who really know me. Especially elementary school ones because they get a whole year to see who you are. That is one of the perks about being in elementary school.

My random thought/statement of the day: Today, at school, I got hash browns in the morning. Yay me! By the way, they were really good!

Blog Term1 Day60

HA, day 60!!!!!!!!!!! That is crazy-cool! My new teddy bear is right beside me as I write this, so that is kinda nice. Tuffy (my bear's name) is sooooooooo warm! We had our Applied Skills test today, and you know what? It wasn't hard, in fact, it was fun, I just wish we had more time. Some of the drawings, I had to rush on, making it not as pretty as I wanted. But at least we don't have to colour or fineline them. If we had to do that, I would soooooo fail! That was one of the funest test I have ever had. (Is funest a word, and if it isn't, it should be!) Well, today, I don't have that much homework, but I still have to play piano and study for Chinese, so actually, I DO have a lot to complete. Poor me! Oh well, that is just too bad, if I work faster and don't lag, I think I might be able to complete all my school homework by 8, which leaves me an hour for piano and finally an hour for Chinese. Then, I can sleep at 10:30? (I still have to pack for school and wash up). Hmmmmmmmm... this could work...

My random thought/statement of the day: Since I don't have have field hockey anymore, after school tomorrow, I could go visit my old grade 7 teacher...

Blog Term1 Day59

In about half an hour, I am going to Oakridge mall to watch High School Musical 3! I can't wait! I hear it is very good, and since I liked the first 2, I am sure to like this last one! I also like going to the movies. Last time I went, it was the summer and I watched Indian Jones with my cousins, brother auntie and uncle. It was really good and I love watching everything on big screen and in really loud volume! Once, when I went to this totally awesome birthday party, we watched Pirates of the Caribbean 3 in really loud volume, so that it was like the movies, but it was sooooo loud, the whole house shook, especially in the beginning, when the Davy Jones' heart was beating. It would be like THUMP-THUMP... THUMP-THUMP. Soooo crazy! Well, anyways, I'll tell you what I thought about High School Musical 3 in my blog tomorrow.

Remember how I said that I got a teddy from Build-A-Bear yesterday, well, apparently, Tuffy (the name of the bear) is totally huggable, so if you are ever planning on getting a teddy bear, go to Build-A-Bear (just saying).

I am actually really enjoying writing these blogs, it is a nice way to debrief, or just talk. As for the new course in Middle Years, I think Middle Years is fine as it is. I don't think there should be a Middle Years P.E because that is just weird, to me, it makes me feel like I am special needs or something. Imagine saying,"Hey, I go to Middle Years P.E!" No offence, but just plain weird. I think lots of people might want Middle Years math, since it is academic, but to tell you the truth, if Middle Years included math, I don't think I would have wanted to join as much... No French, because that is what "French Immersion" is for and no Fine Arts, cuz that would be just weird... or is it? I like Middle Years as it is!

My random thought/statement of the day: I like to eat persimmons! (Is that how you spell it?)

Blog Term1 Day58

YAY ME!!!!!!!!!! I had one of the best days of my life! Okay, well maybe not the best (thanks to Chinese school) but good enough. First, I went to Chinese school for 2 and a half hours. (Trust me, after about 1 hour from sitting in a really uncomfortable chair, you get a major wedgie!) Then, I had my mom's totally awesome congee for lunch. After lunch, I went to piano lessons. After that, my mom, brother and me went to Metopolis at Metrotown, where I got to make me very first teddy bear at Build-A-Bear! It was sooooooooo much fun, and in the end, I named him Tuffy. I LOVE me teddy bear! You know how some people think that teddy bears are for babies, that is sooooooooo bogis, I have soooo many stuffies that I sleep with, half of my bed is covered with them! Anyways, then, I went to Lululemon and got a black and grey headband. After going to Lululemon, we went to Toys R Us for my brother to get Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Finally, we went to the food court and got a plain soft pretzel. I absolutely LOVE soft pretzels!

When we got back home, I did a little bit of homework and then had dinner. We had this really yummy grilled chicken from this place called Nandos. The chicken was good and I really enjoyed it. After dinner, I watched this documentary about hippos, and then now, I am doing my blog.

My random thought/statement of the day: I LOVE hippos, even though they are really dangerous!

Watermania was fun, except some water went up my nose when someone splashed me (yes, it went up my nose). It was really fun though, and mostly, I played with my old friends and the Middle Years people. The wave pool was probably my favourite part (besides the slides). The whole field trip was awesome. I just didn't like the ride to get to the pool. I didn't like it because it was very humid, from all the wet people, and hot, from the messed up windows (they just didn't open, they were jammed).

Well, I'm not going trick-or-treating today. Actually, I have never gone all my life. I usually go to this totally awesome program at my church. It is sooooooo super duper fun, but you have to be grade 6 and under, so I guess all I do is homework. Tonight, I will probably just finish my Chinese homework, and then go ahead and do my school homework. Oh yeah, I still have to play piano. I feel so sad sometimes, it just feels like I barely get to rest and have fun. Then, before you know it, I will be an adult, and I am gonna regret my childhood of never having fun... well kinda. Sometimes, I just wish that we did not have to get any homework, because sometimes, it just does not help!

My random thought statement of the day: Tonight, I want to finish most of my day 2 work.

Blog Term1 Day56

OMGosh, we WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! I am like super super excited! I got this totally awesome medal, and it looks soooo cool, but I accidentally dropped it when I got back home last night. I seriously hope that it isn't dented, but I don't really know if it is. Then, we also got a trophy for a school! There were a whole bunch of names on the trophy's base, and when I looked at it, the last time we got a Churchill win was like 199 something. I am sooo glad that we got it! I feel so happy, even though I got a headache. We were playing in the rain, and we were all totally soaked, so I got a major headache, but now, it feels a little better. I had a short nap, so it kinda went away. I also felt very soggy and gross. But after taking a really long hot bath, I feel a lot better.

There is also that Halloween dance tonight, in fact, I think it might still be going on. A lot of my friends are going and when I went to get my bags after the game, I saw all the people decorating the caf, and it looked sooooooo awesome! I kinda wish I could go there myself! But, I have homework and a whole bunch of other things to do.

Tomorrow, I am going to Watermania! I am kinda excited, but I also don't really want to go. Sometimes, I feel like not going to class isn't that awesome, because then, you have to catch-up on homework. It feels good to go on field trips though, then, you can just relax and hang out with your friends.

My random thought/statement of the day: I really like the medal!

Tomorrow, is the big day! I am determined to win! I just hope that all goes well. I also really want to get the gold. I actually don't feel very "write-y" right now. I just feel lazy and tired. I still have lots of homework to do, along with piano AND Chinese homework. There is also a MAJOR science test we are doing tomorrow, so I really should get studying. Oh well, I guess that is just high school. There is also the Halloween dance tomorrow. Any guess what... I'm not going. Sorry, but I just don't like that kinda thing AND I wouldn't have any time to do my homework. Since the game is until 5pm or so, and the dance starts at 6:30pm or something, I just don't have enough time. Too bad.

Guess what? We won! We won the semi finals! I can't believe it! We rock! Anyways, here are the details. The score was 4-0. The first goal was made in the first half. Then, in the first few minutes of second half, we scored 3 goals in a row! It was like we were on fire! We just kept going and going! I guess our coaches were right, if you want the ball enough, you will do well. It was like magic! I dunno our rank right now, but we were soooooooooo rocking it! Now, if only we could win the finals, and bring back gold, now that would be awesome. If we win, we get: a trophy for the school, a banner for the large gym, a certificate AND (drum roll please) our very own medal! OMGosh, I am sooooooooo determined to win! This season has been great, and tomorrow, we only have one more practice before the big game. But then, the season is over... I seriously didn't want the season to end so fast! It was so much fun! The practices, the games, making new friends, getting fit, everything! I guess I will just have to join more teams! I am so happy about the overall season, but also really sad. Only 2 more days... Okay, on to the funny stuff, after the game, one of the parents brought chocolate chip cookies, then, a really nice university person that used to be on the Churchill field hockey team baked brownies for us, THEN, our coach brought us big chocolate chip cupcakes (like she promised last time). So by the end of it, I was totally full, and full of sugar, now, I am super duper hyper! Yay me! hahahaha!

Also, if we win, our coach promises that she would get us BIG chocolate cupcakes! I am sooooo looking forward to those cupcakes! But if we don't win, I guess there is always next year!

I still have some homework to complete, but I really want to finish it all up so that I can do some shopping. I haven't been shopping for a week, and I seriously need a break anyways. I wish I could just finish all my work in half an hour, but I am SUCH a slow person (when it comes with homework). Everyone says that I am a perfectionist, and I think I am too. Everyday, I am trying hard not to be one though. I HATE being a perfectionist, but part of me just can't help it, so I have to work really hard to overcome this bad trait. I was reading a lot this morning (but I was reading for my book test, so it's okay). After I am done writing my blog, I am gonna finish up my math, and then science, which will probably lead me to lunch. After lunch, I will probably go to the library (and if I'm lucky, I can do a little shopping at Oakridge). The rest will just come along as I go through the day.

I actually think that lunch is gonna be ready really soon, so I am gonna hurry, so I can keep up with today's schedule. For lunch, I think we are having wonton with noodles in soup (YUM!)

My random thought/statement of the day: We have another field hockey game on Tuesday, and it's gonna be the playoffs! I sooooooo hope we get first place!

Today, I had my Chinese exam, so now, I have to finish as much school work as possible. If I do at least 75%, I might get to go shopping or just relax tomorrow. I have been working really really hard over the past week, so I totally need a break. I feel so tired! Last night, I slept at 1am and woke up at 7am. Now, I feel a little bit like a zombie. Oh well... I did have a nap in the afternoon though, so that kinda helped.

I still have a lot of homework to complete though. (Too bad.) I also have a couple of tests to study for. I seriously hope that I can complete it all tonight. Overall, my day was really fun and I even though I had an exam, I still had fun.

I know, it's sad, but I have to do it anyways. I don't have a second to lose, but I will try to write more tomorrow... that is if I don't have mounds of homework to do (which I am sure I do)But today, my schedule is really tight and I think that I will probably sleeping at 1am tonight. Anyway, enough about Chinese school. Today, we had another game, and we tied 0-0. It was all kinda sad, since we had so many chances to score. Well, at least we are in the playoffs. Our first playoff game is on Tuesday and we don't win, I will be very upset. In the playoff games, it's winner goes on and loser goes home. Blog Term1 Day48

Remember last blog I said that I didn't know if we were first in the field hockey league anymore? Well guess what? Today during practice, one of the coaches told us our position. Guess where we are now? Third! I am so upset! It thought we would at least be second, but we aren't even second! I am upset, but I guess we learned to take the games more seriously. I guess everything has a lesson. But the winners get to take home certificates, banners, medals, a trophy for the school and bragging rights! I sooooooooo want to get all those things, so I think I should really try harder and want the ball more. Sometimes, I just feel like I don't want to win that much, but now that the play offs are coming and the medals are on the horizon, I feel a lot more motivated.

My random thought/statement of the day: I really have to study for my Chinese exam!

Blog Term1 Day47

I can not believe it! We lost the game! I am so sad! I don't know if we are even first in the junior/bantam field hockey league anymore! This is so tragic, because in the beginning, we were doing really well, then they scored, then we got a goal and then they scored and at the very last minute, they scored again!!!!!!!!! Anyway, in the end, the score was 2-3! What a close game! But then again, it teaches us not to be too proud and show-offy (is that a word? well, if it isn't I have just invented one!)

Other than the game, the day has been very fun. I don't have as much homework from Day 2, and that leaves me with more time to study for my Chinese exam, but I still have to study French, and I still have homework from school (just not as much!) Sometimes, I feel like high school is terrible, and sometimes, I think high school is awesome. It's all very weird. I didn't really get to study as much Chinese as I would have liked yesterday, so I should catch-up. I also have a French skit to memorize.

My random thought/statement of the day: I really hope that tomorrow, I don't have too much homework either.

Blog Term1 Day46

Today, we had yet another pracitce after school and I have to say, I had a lot of fun. It's good to join clubs and teams, because then, you can hang out with your friends and you get to learn stuff. I have realized that I really really like to play field hockey. It's so much fun and it's good to help people stay fit. The only downfall about practicing today, was that it was raining. I was wearing a hoody though, so that was good. At least I wasn't totally soaked. Tomorrow, we have a game, so that will be fun, but usually with games, it ends later, leaving me with less time for homework and other things like that. Sometimes I wonder if homework really helps with learning. I shouldn't really complain about school, since there are many people that would love to go to school and learn. I still have lots of homework to complete, along with a major science test tomorrow, so I better start to study and do my work!

My random thought/statement of the day: I wish I could have more time to do my homework.

Blog Term1 Day45

I LOVE HIPPOS! I started to like them ever since a long time ago. Especially my stuffy, Topaz. Topaz is the cutest hippo in the whole entire universe, and some day, when I go to the San Diego zoo, I will get lots more hippos. (I got Topaz at the San Diego zoo around 3-4 years ago.) I also have a really good friend of mine who also really likes hippos. Once I go to the zoo again, I will get posters of hippos and more stuffies and spread them all over my room, so that everywhere people go, they will see hippos. (YAY!)

Anyway, today, I have lots of homework to complete so I better get going. I also have to start to study for my Cantonese exam. I should also play a lot of piano today since over the week, I barely get to. Then, I will probably do all my school work (trust me, I have lots!) I did lots yesterday, but I still have lots today.

My random thought/statement of the day: I really want to take an afternoon nap.

Blog Term1 Day44

I did my Mandarin exam today! I think I did considerably good job. Since I only really studied for 1 day. Now, I have a major Cantonese exam on this coming Saturday again, *sob*. I also have some homework to complete (from school).

Today, I only went to the library after piano lessons. I only have 1 more book test to complete for English. (I think that I passed my fourth one, I haven't gotten the results yet.) I actually don't have much to say. Today hasn't been very exciting.

My random thought/statement of the day: I like mangoes and papayas.

Blog Term1 Day43

Guess what? I got an Onigari! I don't know how to spell it, but they are those Japanese rice-wrapped things. First, on the outside there is a layer of seaweed, then there is a layer or rice and finally, the filling. There were 4 fillings to choose from. There was tuna, veggie, chicken and beef. I got the chicken and beef. I thought they were both really really good. The seaweed was very crisp and the filling was very tasty. I think they were available at the old dog pound. There was also poutine at the caf. My friend got it and it looked good, unfortunately it was kinda overpriced. Enough about the food!

I have a mandarin exam, and again, I have lots to cover in a couple of hours. I really should get going!

My random thought/statement of the day: I really hope that tomorrow, I do well on my exam, so wish me luck!

Blog Term1 Day42

Yay, we played another field hockey game at home, and guess what? We won! The score was 2-1! Now, we the junior Churchill field hockey game is in first place! If we keep this up, and maintain our status throughout the playoffs, we could win a trophy! I am so excited and happy!

Again, I have lots of homework. Usually, this isn't a lot, but because I have a Mandarin exam this Saturday (and I haven't studied yet, due to homework) I have a lot. I didn't get to do any yesterday, because I was studying for my Cantonese dictation, not to mention I have a Cantonese exam coming up. I am really feeling sad now. Also, I am super-duper tired. I didn't really start off the morning with lots of energy anyway, so after the game, I am almost asleep. This week, I have been sleeping as late as 2am and the earliest was 12am. I know, you are probably going, "Well, this isn't good, you should be getting more sleep". But trust me, if I didn't have to worry over homework and Chinese and piano, I would be asleep already. Tomorrow, after school, I have recycling to do, but I would seriously rather study for my exams. I didn't go last week because of a dentist appointment, so I really should go, or else it will seem like I am irresponsible, but an hour is a lot when it comes to studying. It could mean a passing mark and a fail, so I better get going. I need all the practice I can get!

My random thought/statement of the day: I wish I could sleep.

Blog Term1 Day41

I seriously have a lot of homework to do. If I said that I had mounds of homework yesterday, I now have mountains! Not only do I have homework from Day 1 AND Day 2, I also have to play piano, study for my Mandarin exam, Cantonese exam and Cantonese dictation. I think I will probably sleep at 3 am. I didn't get to do any homework from school yet. Right after school, I had practice, where I promptly froze from the coldness. (I forgot my hoody). Then, I came rushing home where I took a short hot shower and then rushed out the door. Today is my mom's B-day, so we went out to for dinner. I just came back around 1 minute ago, and I am SO rushing to finish my homework. I know Chinese school is good for me, but it truly is torture.

I haven't given away any bark cards yet, but I know who to give them to. I just don't know how you give them. Do you give the cards to them and they put it into the draw, or show them the card, and then, you put it into the draw yourself? This is confusing!

My random thought/statement of the day: My eyes are already drooping from my sleepiness.

Blog Term1 Day40

Today, we played against another school! And we won! (I won't say the name of the school cuz I don't want to seem like a sore winner). But we won 3-0! That really put me into a good mood for the rest of the night. I have a lot of homework to do though, so I better get cracking! I really don't want to fall behind all my homework, plus I have to practice piano, study for my Mandarin Exam and Cantonese dictation. Trust me, it's a lot to do. I guess I will be staying up late again. I usually can't start my homework until after dinner. This is the only part of my homework I can do before then. After practicing or playing a game, I have to take a shower, and by then, dinner is ready.

My random thought/statement of the day: I gave compliments to everyone on my team! Yay! I didn't give any bark cards away though... (not yet)....
